Even with the gimmick involved in countering the Hushed Saint, thisLords of the Fallenboss is no pushover. It may not be the hardest boss to duel against, but it will still test the player’s reflexes and combat skills to a certain degree. Here’s how to beat it.

Lords of the Fallen: Hushed Saint Boss Guide
First, to make this boss significantly easier, playersshould summon a friendor call the Iron Wayfarer to assist them in the fight. He uses a large hammer in battle, and it’s very effective at breaking the Hushed Saint’s poise.
The battle begins with the Hushed Saint on his trusty steed. He will charge and strafe at players, using his halberd as a projectile or as a lance. To knock the Hushed Saint off his high horse, pull out the Umbral Lamp and look for the ambient parasites floating around in the arena. When the boss charges, players should put themselves and the boss between one of the parasites. Siphon the parasite to detonate it and throw the boss to the ground.
When grounded, the Hushed Saint fights with his shield and halberd. His attacks are fairly easy to dodge and parry, but these damage windows are fairly limited. He will soon submerge himself and reappear on his horse. Knock him off again, and repeat the process until he dies.
Once the boss drops down to half health, he will start using faster and less predictable attacks, making him significantly more lethal. However, he will rely on horseback riding less, so players will have to rely on their own skills to dodge and counter.
Using a heavy weapon here is highly recommended as the Hushed Saint’s poise is easily broken. Players who are using one-handed weapons should attempt to use heavy charged attacks often, but only when it is safe to do so. If the Iron Wayfarer is alive, then he will help keep the boss staggered, opening it up to a flurry of hits.verify weapons are upgradedbefore attempting the fight.
Do not start the fight in the Umbral. Not only does this waste health, but it’ll also deny players the chance to revive after getting killed. It’s much better to simply use the Umbral Lamp normally while in Axiom to detonate the parasites.
