Records are scattered songs players need to collect to unlock the true ending inLies of P. The Records can be played using the Gramophone in Hotel Krat at any time. There are three endings in the game, two of which are considered bad while the third ending is seen as the true/good ending inLies of P.
While Records may not seem that important while slaying monsters and helping NPCs, they do have a purpose. Once Pinocchio listens to a Record at Hotel Krat, his humanity meter increases, which boosts the Puppet’s chances of becoming a real boy. However, do note that some Records are only obtainable through lying or only available in New Game+.
