Last year,Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockoutwas released, becoming a surprise hit in the process. The game’s praise was due to its hectic platforming mayhem that drew in tons of fans and many Twitch streamers. The titularFall Guysmascots are also quite endearing, thanks to their bean-like designs.Fall Guysis such a popular gameto play that it’s been featured on many different platforms and has been a part of multiple crossovers.
These crossovers are typically costumes that can be purchased in two parts, each one costing a certain amount of kudos and run for a limited time. One of the recentcrossovers involvedSuper Monkey Ball’s protagonist AiAigetting a costume. This costume retained the character’s iconic look, with a simple orange T-Shirt with an A on it, as well as a hat that resembles the monkey’s head. The next collaboration forFall Guysis another Sega property, with Knuckles the Echidna from theSonic the Hedgehogseries being added as a costume.

The first look at this costume was shown off in a new video on the game’s twitter account, annoucning that this is costume is celebratingSonic the Hedgehog’s 30th anniversary. The Knuckles costume retains the character’s iconic red look, complete with a top part of the costume that has his dreadlocks and gloves, and a bottom part that has his shoes. The gloves on the top costume even have Knuckles' iconic spiked knuckles.
This Knuckles costume, much like other collaborative costumes in Fall Guys, will be available for a limited time. Players will be able to purchase this costume from November 12th to 14th, each part of the costume being 11k Kudos each. This is the second time that the Sonic franchise has collaborated withFall Guys, asa SonicFall Guyscostumewas released last year, among other crossovers.
While the game isn’t as popular as it was last year, it continues to have a lot of success, evidenced by all the crossovers it has had these past few months. The developers are even thinking ofbringing back an old level idea forFall Guysthanks to the popularity ofSquid Game. With the game’s enduring playerbase, fans will see other crossover content coming in the near future, whether it be based onSonic the Hedgehogor other media.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockoutis available now on PC and PS4, with Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development scheduled to release later this year.
