Not many games say “Fake Love” more thanAmong Us.It seems like the social deduction game’s developers Innersloth and the South Korean company HYBE Entertainment agree and the K-POP sensation BTS is entering a partnership to feature the group’s character avatars inAmong Us.
The BTS management group HYBE Entertainment released an announcement video that featured BTS’s LINE FRIENDS avatars, BT21, in theAmong Usstyle. LINE FRIENDS is a social media platform popular in South Korea that utilizes animal avatars to portray users on the service. These avatars are used as digital stickers used on that platform and LINE FRIENDS has expanded into various stores, anime, and even theme parks in the region. One of the company’s core tenets is worldwide brand partnership and that has nowextended to bringAmong Usand BT21 together.

The trailer has the BT21 characters sitting on or around a couch, similar to how someAmong Uspromotional art has done with their crewmates when they are suddenly teleported into space. The characters have been made intoAmong Uscrewmates, but according to the teaser trailer, these skins will not feature in the game. ARMY, the BTS fandom, is elated that thiscollaboration withAmong Usis happening even though the teaser states there won’t be featured in-game. The official announcement for what HYBE has planned will go live on November 25th.
Since the game really took off in 2020,Among Ushas gone through a few upgrades to keep the game fresh. The game has most recently released an update that brought an in-game currency, tracks progression, its own spin on the Battle Pass, and more earlier this month. The game has also officially addednew roles for Crewmates, a function that was once only available on PC with complicated mods.
Innersloth is also preparing to bring the game to consoles later this year and physical copies of the game releasing in 2022.Among Us’s debut on consoles had to be pushed backand the team has been working hard preparing the game for a potential second wind. There are also 3 different versions ofAmong UsCollectors Editions that will also launch when the game comes out for consoles.
Among Usis now available on Android, iOS, PC, and Switch and is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on December 14th.
