Twitchstreamer JustAMinx revealed that she’s no longer part of OpTic Gaming and claimed she was given only 24 hours to leave the content house.Minx shared the news following the distressing home invasionshe experienced.
During her birthday last November 3, Minx’s home, which was believed to be an Airbnb rental, was investigated after a drug den was discovered under the house. Worse, a man was said to be squatting there, and two other men were seen hanging around the area. Minx’s cat Sylum also escaped and has yet to be found. In a series of tweets on her @MinxMore account, Minx clarified that she wasn’t inthe OpTic content housewhen the attempted break-in happened.

TheTwitchstreamer further revealed that OpTic allegedly gave her only 24 hours to leave the house after she was released from the psych ward a few months back. In a stream, Minx also mentioned that OpTic fired her. This explained why she had to move three times in the past month. In another tweet, she said she never talked about leaving OpTic because she signed a non-disclosure agreement, and was hoping to negotiate with them. However, an OpTic employee allegedly leaked the details to her mods and friends.
Minx along with the Botez Sisters and CodeMikojoined OpTic Gaming earlier this year after the esports organization acquired Envy Gaming. Followers have asked whether her former housemates have stood up for her when she was fired, and she only mentioned Andrea Botez and Alexandra Botez as being “real ones” throughout all this. Meanwhile, fans have offered their support to Minx as she deals with the firing and the home invasion incident.
In the past few months,Minx had been in the middle of drama, with the most recent being accused of blackmailing fellow streamer Toxxxic. Her chaotic situation had become a joke in some parts of the Twitch community, saying that she attracts drama and often gets herself into bizarre, unlucky situations. Many fans didn’t seem to be empathetic about the OpTic firing either.
Twitch drama can be entertaining to many, but fans also need to remember that streamers are still human. Minx, just like many streamers, had been open about struggling with her mental health, and recent events have obviously affected it. Regardless of what viewers say about Minx on social media, no one deserves to be mocked in their lowest moments.
