Takaba had resolved to make every single person laugh when he was younger, however, when he fought against Kenjaku and didn’t get the desired results from him, he chose to get defensive and mentioned that if Kenjaku didn’t laugh, it didn’t matter to him because everyone else thinks he is funny.
Deep down, he knew that this wasn’t right and that his way of comedy was something else entirely. This is also why his Cursed Technique stopped working because, in a way, he did not believe in what he was saying himself. For Takaba to make full use of his cursed technique, he needs to be getting results and he needs to be high on confidence as well. This is precisely why, after some self-reflection, Takaba finally realized that he was cheating himself and that he needs to accept the facts as they are and work to better himself.
To the surprise of the fans, Kenjaku couldn’t help but get invested in this fight himself and he was slowly getting enamored by Takaba. Now, the big fight is finally about to start and JJK chapter 242 will focus on that. Fans could see Takaba’s technique was coming back to him since writing could be seen on Kenjaku’s face, which was only a result of his cursed technique. Now, JJK chapter 242 will give fans a glimpse of Takaba’s true comedic nature. This upcoming chapter of the story should be a very unserious one. This is not to say that the chapter will not be good. While it is highly unlikely for fans to see the fight between Sukuna and Yuji continue, it is always a possibility andJJKchapter 242 might very well tackle it. Fans already know that Sukuna and Yuji are two incredibly important characters in the story that are likely going to take part in the biggest fight in the Culling Game after the one that fans just witnessed between Gojo and Sukuna. This fight has everyone’s attention and it will be extremely exciting to see it continue when it does. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 242 could give fans a glimpse of this fight, however, fans should not bet on that happening.
This is simply because the story is currently focusing on the clash between Takaba and Kenjaku. If, by some miracle, this fight gets either interrupted or is wrapped up in the upcoming chapter of the story, then fans will most likely seeSukuna, Yuji, and Higurumain the upcoming chapter as well. However, that is unlikely to happen.
