In the prison, Jolyne meets some incredible people who help her navigate prison life while trying to escape and save her father.

There are a lot of strong characters inStone Ocean, but some of them stand out more than others. These characters are capable of giving the strongest anime characters a run for their money. They combine their stand abilities brilliantly with their intelligence, which makes them incredibly hard to deal with.

Each character possesses a unique Stand, which separates them from the rest. As the anime for Stone Ocean continues, more new characters are being introduced. So, we have decided to add more entries to the list of thestrongest characters in Stone Ocean.
14Viviano Westwood
Viviano Westwood was introduced inStoneOceanwhen Jolyne was sent to the Ultra House Security Unit. He was entrusted with the task of getting rid of Jolyne, and he nearly succeeded in his task. The fight between Jolyne and Viviano was very intense.
Jolyne suffered numerous physical injuries, and she nearly died. Furthermore, Viviano’s Stand, Planet Waves allowed him to bring down meteors from the sky, which could cause serious injuries.
13Ungalo
Ungalo is one of DIO’s illegitimate sons and he played a crucial role in the series. Once he met Pucci, Ungalo managed to awaken his Stand, Bohemian Rhapsody. The Stand’s power affected the entire earth, and there were countless casualties.
Due to the Stand having a very large range, Ungalo was easily able to hide. If Ungalo had more determination, he could easily have caused more destruction throughout the worldwith his overpowered Stand.
12Rikiel
Another one of DIO’s sons, Rikiel faced Jolyne after she escaped from the prison. Unlike Ungalo and Versus, Rikiel is a very honorable fighter. When he was defeated by Jolyne in battle, he acknowledged her as a great fighter and even told her about Pucci.
Rikiel wields Sky High, which allows him to control mysterious things known as rods. Sky High has full control over these rods and they can be used in many different ways. While at his best, Rikiel was almost able to kill Ermes and Jolyne.
11Miu Miu
Miu Miu is the chief guard of the Green Dolphin Street Prison. She made her appearance when Jolyne and Emporio were trying to break out of prison. Being the chief guard, she was a very strong opponent and she gave Jolyne and Emporio a really torrid time.
Miu Miu possesses Jail House Lock, a very unique Stand that can cause severe memory loss. When Miu Miu activates her Stand, the target only remembers three things at once. While this may not seem like a powerful ability, she was able to cause Jolyne a lot ofproblems during their fight.
10Sports Maxx
Sports Maxx was a sick and sordid individual, who was imprisoned inside the Green Dolphin Street Prison. He killed Ermes' sister after she had seen him murder another individual.
Inside the prison, Sports Maxx joined up with Pucci and helped the latter by reviving DIO’s bone. His stand, Limp Bizkit allowed him to revive anything dead and turn them into his puppets. The stand also turned Maxx into a zombie after his death. With the help of invisible zombies, Maxx was able to wreak havoc inside the prison.
9Ermes Costello
Ermes Costello voluntarily got arrested as she sought revenge against Sports Maxx, her sister’s killer. She met Jolyne inside the Green Dolphin Street Prison and the two of them became very close friends.
Ermes' stand was Kiss, which is a close-range stand that can create replicas via stickers. Ermes used these stickers to absolute perfection as she set up several traps against her foes.
8Donatello Versus
He is one of the three sons of DIO to have been introduced inStone Ocean. Versus' stand Under World has no real physical prowess, so it heavily relies on fighting an opponent from a distance.

The stand’s ability to dig up memories from the earth is very useful and makes the target go through whatever happened in the memory. Versus can also destroy loopholes within any memory, thus trapping the target inside with no route to escape.
7Lang Rangler
Lang Ranger proved to be a real menace for Jolyne Cujoh. His stand, Jumping Jack Flash, allowed for him to remove gravity. With the power of gravity removal, he could create a perilous environment that if left unchecked could easily result in the death of an individual.
This fearsome ability made him almost impossible to defeat. It took the combined efforts of Jolyne and Weather Report to defeat Lang Rangler in combat.
6Foo Fighters
Foo Fighters was originally a minor antagonist, but after having their life saved by Jolyne, they allied with her. They are actually a colony of plankton living that took shelter inside the body of a dead inmate.
Foo Fighters' ability as a fighter is very underrated. They were able to heal the wounds of others and thus saving them from potential death. Furthermore, they could also infiltrate the body of another person and gain access to their memories.
5Anasui
Considered by many to be a dangerous person, Narciso Anasui changed the moment he met Jolyne. He fell inlove with Jolyneand wanted to marry her.

So, when he heard Jolyne had left the prison, Anasui followed her and played a major role in the fight against Pucci. Anasui’s Diver Down caused huge problems for Pucci, who acknowledged his threat. Anasui formulated a plan to stop Pucci, but he was killed before it could be executed.
