Parents can never get the catchy song “Let It Go” out of their heads thanks to the love that children have for the 2013 Disney movieFrozen. The movie was a massive hit and grossed over $1.2 billion USD, followed by a sequel in 2019 which grossed $1.4 billion USD. The story of sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) who live in a frozen kingdom is fun, moving, and beautifully done. Both films are definitely stories that people of all ages can enjoy and be entertained by.

Elsa is terrified of what’s going on and tells Anna that she doesn’t know how to use her magic so it doesn’t cause chaos and problems. WhileFrozenisn’t aChristmas movie for kids, it does have a fun winter setting. The fantastic music and sweet, funny characters make this a must-watch any time of the year.

What Is Frozen 2 About?

Frozenwas such a big hit that a sequel was inevitable andFrozen 2was released in 2019. Elsa and Anna find themselves in trouble once again, this time in an Enchanted Forest. They have to work together with their friends to save their kingdom. The sisters find out that their grandfather started a war between two kingdoms when he ensured that Northuldra, the tribe right next door, was trapped and had no contact with the world for over three decades. It turns out that their mom was a member of this tribe. When Elsa and Anna learn that there are spirits, Elsa becomes one of the spirits, and she is in charge of saving everyone.

There are severalgreat anime based on fairy talesand it turns out that this popular Disney has roots in a fairy tale.Frozenis based on “The Snow Queen,” a Danish fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen that was published in 1844.

The story follows a mirror with magical powers that the devil has created. It makes everyone look terrible and brings their flaws to life. Gerda and Kai are next-door neighbors who like to play and have fun together. When they hear about The Snow Queen, this changes their relationship as Kai turns into a horrible person. Gerda races to stop this evil figure from hurting Kai, who she cares a lot about.

While there are definitely differences between the original fairy tale andFrozen, Elsa is essentially this Snow Queen character. The same questions about good and evil are present in both stories. There is also a similar theme of friendship and love being what saves people from death or pain. Just like Gerda shows Kai that she loves him and therefore she’s going to help him survive, Elsa and Anna care about each other and are a team in each movie.

Will There Be A Frozen 3?

There has been no announcement of aFrozen 3. Kristen Bell appeared onThe Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallonand said, “I would like to officially announce with zero authority…Frozen 3… Please bear in mind I did say zero authority because I can’t do that. I can’t do that. I’m not in charge,” according toDigital Spy. Bell said that Menzel said she would be happy to star in a third movie and she would be, too.

Menzel appeared on the show a little bit later and said, “I can unofficially claim with no backing that there will be aFrozen4 and 5. The triology and then the quadrupoly or whatever its called!” according toBillboard.
