The video explained that this new project blends Supermassive’s tense storytelling approach withDead by Daylight’s popular mythology. Its story takes place outside the realm of the Entity, which isDead by Daylight’s overarching antagonist. This spin-off game follows a brand-new cast of characters, and is a unique way to enjoyDead by Daylight’s horror universe.
It’s not yet clear what this game’s reveal at The Game Awards will include, but fans can hope for a trailer or teaser to be shown, which might contain some gameplay.Supermassive is known for creating terrifying monsters, so horror fanatics have plenty to look forward to regarding this mysterious game. Supermassive has released other horror games likeThe Quarry,Until Dawn, andThe Dark Pictures Anthology, all of which were well-received titles.
