One of the things that players will need to focus on is their level of hydration.
If the player is thirsty, then they will suffer some penalties. These include stamina regeneration penalties, health loss, and even death. Needless to say, staying hydrated in7 Days To Die is a must. This guide will go through all there is to know about collecting water.

Search Toilets
While it’s possible to find water in almost any cupboard or container, toilets have the best chances of having a couple of bottles of waterinside them. It’s not a pretty job, but it’s definitely worth taking a peak inside every toilet you come across.
Something that’s worth keeping in mind, any water that you find in a toilet won’t be very clean. While you can drink murky water, you are running the risk of becoming sick. So, if possible, attempt to purify any water you find at a campfire before drinking it.

Search Liquor Piles And Coffee Machines
Similar to toilets, liquor piles, and coffee machines usually have a pretty decent chance of containing a bottle of murky water or two. You’ll find a coffee machine inmost kitchens. As for liquor piles, while liquor shops are great for finding liquor piles, lots of houses have small liquor piles hidden away in basements and attics.
Also, do a thorough search of the trader bases. Some traders will have a couple of liquor piles somewhere nearby. For some reason, traders don’t seem to mind players looting their goods, so be sure to pick up anything you find at trader bases. you’re able to even sell them their own goods for a profit!

Drink From Water Sources
It’s not ideal, but if you are really struggling to find water to purify, then you might be able to get away with taking a few sips from a river or lake. While there is a risk of getting sick, getting sick is better than dying from dehydration.
After you’ve got yourself some water purification mods, it is possible to attach them to certain pieces of headwear. This automaticallyturns any water source into fresh clean waterthat you may drink without any possibility of getting sick.

Build A Dew Collector
To be able to craft a Dew Collector, you’ll need to read a Forge Ahead Magazine. You can get magazines in the following ways:
Once you’ve read a copy of Forge Ahead, you’ll need 100 Scrap Polymers, four Short Iron Pipes, and four Duct Tape to be able to craft a Dew Collector. These materials are pretty easy to get.Just be sure that there are no obstructions above the Dew Collector when you place it. It won’t work if there are blocks directly above it.
