How To Get To Jagged Peak In The Elden Ring DLC

Players can reach the Jagged Peak pretty early in the Elden Ring DLC. Still, it’s an area rife with dangerous enemies and bosses, so it’s not recommended for players who are under-leveled or who haven’t collected an abundance of Scadutree Fragments for additional damage negation. Players will also need to head through a small cave known as the Dragon’s Pit and contend with a boss there to open the path toward the Jagged Peak.

To get to the Dragon’s Pit, players should head across the Ellac Greatbridge and start at the Castle Front Site of Grace. From this spot, players can head East and follow a road that heads up a small mountainside and then splits off onto an unbeaten path that winds through the ridge. At the top of this area, players will find a cave carved into the mountainside on the left and marked by a glowing fire pit. Inside this cave lies the Dragon’s Pit, a fairly straightforward cave system that twists and turns down through the rock until it abruptly ends at a large altar of sorts. Players will notice that there is a large pit keeping them from reaching the altar. Those looking to make it to the Jagged Peak need to simply walk off the edge into this pit, causing them to fall for a long distance before landing safely at the bottom.

There, players will be greeted by a Boss Door. Inside, they’ll need to contend with the Ancient Dragon-Man. Defeating this foe will allow players to access another door at the back of the boss arena. Opening this door and continuing on will put players at the Dragon’s Pit Terminus Site of Grace. Continuing forward from this Site of Grace will lead players to the Jagged Peak.

What’s Found In The Jagged Peak In The Elden Ring DLC?

There are spoilers ahead for the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.There are a couple of important locations in the Jagged Peak. Perhaps the most important is located a short distance from the exit of the Dragon’s Pit cave. As players make their way down the small cliffside, they will eventually come across a large area with a sleeping Jagged Peak Drake. If players take the path to the right, they will eventually come across the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. Here, players can tradeDragon Heartfor special abilities. Continuing across the body of the dragon and past it will lead players to an area called Charo’s Hidden Grave. If players go up the mountain path from the first Jagged Peak Drake, they’ll eventually run into two more Jagged Peak Drakes, as well as a boss named Ancient Dragon Senessax. This location is also important for Igon’s questline, and is where players can take on the DLC Super Boss, Bayle The Dread.
