How to Craft a Thermal Detonator
To craft a Thermal Detonator, players must first have access to aRebel Workbench- a specialized Workbench used to craft most of theStar Warsitems inLEGO Fortnite. Once acquired, players can thenuse the Rebel Workbench to craft a Thermal Detonatorwith the following resources:
While Durasteel can be crafted via a Metal Smelter using 2 Scrap Durasteel, getting a hold of Blast Cores is a little more tricky.Blast Cores are dropped by eliminated Blasters, a hostile Roller variant found within the Dry Lands biome. Before heading over to the Dry Lands to battle this deadly foe, it is advised that gamers stock up on items that will allow them tosurvive the heat.
Once gamers are in the Dry Lands and have located a Blaster, they can simply head towards the creature to provoke it. Next, swiftly retreat, for this pesky critter will pursue the player before detonating - leaving behind a single Blast Core upon doing so.
How to Use a Thermal Detonator
Thermal Detonators arepowerful explosives inLEGO Fortnite, proving rather effective in disposing of groups of Stormtroopers and other hostile mobs, as well as destroying structures to harvest heaps of resources. To use a Thermal Detonator inLEGO Fortnite, simply equip it into the Quickbar. Once equipped, players can either throw it immediately by pressing the Fire input action key or hold it down for extra precision before releasing it.
A Thermal Detonator will explode shortly after being thrown, so be sure to step away from the blast zone to avoid taking damage.
