How to Defeat Shashlik in Chained Echoes
Since Shashlik is weak to Fire, players should combine Glenn’s Oil Slash with Lenne’s Fire Thrust and finish him with the Ultra Move. If he paralyzed a teammate or put them to sleep, players should counter the attacks with Saga or Alarm Clock items.
It’s worth noting that the Shashlik battle has two phases. It first appears as individual veggies, and then it evolves into a Super Veggie Shish Kebab. Here are the best practices for each stage.
Phase 1: Carrie, Mush, Peppa, Cornelia, and Broko Lee
Before forming Shashlik, the walking carrot (Carrie) and his friends attack players individually. To beat them quickly, it’s best to focus on Carrie and Peppa, who are the strongest foes. Players can take them out fairly easily with Glenn’s Cross Slash and Sienna’s X-Slash.
Phase 2: The Super Skewered Veggies, Shashlik
As anyold-school JRPG fansmight guess, the vegetables form a stronger alliance after the first phase, the Shashlik. During this stage, the veggies’ moves get “Super” status, meaning that they inflict more DPS and cover a wider range.
To counter Shashlik’s super moves, players can use Victor’s Shield Mazurka. As for its magic, Paralyze and Sleep, it’s a good idea to equip Sage and Alarm Clock from the Items menu. Sage cures Paralyzed, and Alarm Clock removes the Sleep status.

For the initial phase, Sienna’s Yoko Giri and Glenn’s Wide Swing arethe best skillsbecause they damage all five vegetables. For the second phase, when fighting Shashlik, Glenn’s Oil Slash, followed by Lenne’s Fire Thrust is the ultimate choice.
What Is the Prize for Killing Shashlik?
The reward for beating Shashlik is a titular sword for Lenne. After the boss fight, players can investigate the scarecrow to get the Shashlik sword. Likethe Festivities’ rewards, the blade falls short of damaging strong bosses, but it’s a nice addition to the player’s inventory nonetheless.
