Summary
Honkai: Star Railhas introduced many groups and factions that help push the story forward. After the conclusion of the main Penacony storyline, a group that manyHonkai: Star Railfans want to know more about is the Interastral Peace Corporation’s (IPC) Ten Stonehearts. This is also known as the group of high-ranking IPC executives, such as Aventurine, Topaz, and Jade.
The Ten Stonehearts all wield sacred Cornerstones that seal the authority of Diamond, the Emanator of Preservation, within them. The IPC executives can use these stones to unleash great power, which waswhat Aventurine did in the boss battleat Clock Studios Theme Park. With Jade arriving inHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.3, there’s an opportunity to further flesh out the IPC group’s story.

Honkai: Star Rail’s Ten Stonehearts Give More IPC Representation
The Ten Stonehearts, also known as the Non-Performing Assets Liquidation Specialists, were personally selected by Diamond to lead various IPC operations. Each member is named after their Cornerstones, and they each have different responsibilities - for example,Topazdoes debt collection, while Jade is in charge of money lending. Right now, only seven Stonehearts have been named, with three being playable characters inHonkai: Star Rail.

Known Ten Stonehearts Characters Who Aren’t Playable
The IPC’s role was initially established during Topaz’s visit to Jarilo-VI, but the Penacony arc truly gave the infamous group the spotlight through Aventurine’s involvement. Although he’s portrayed as visiting Penacony strictly for business, Aventurine is also instrumental in unraveling The Family’s dark secrets in the Dreamscape. His actions eventually opened the door for the IPC to drop Penacony, which will be tackled inHonkai: Star RailVersion 2.3.
Since the IPC hasn’t been given enough exposure inHonkai: Star Rail, the next few updates should focus on diving deep into the Ten Stonehearts. It should address whether the group has good or bad intentions in every territory it visits, including Penacony, especially since the IPC has a history of turning Penacony into a prison colony.Honkai: Star Railcould also show a moral divide between the Stonehearts, highlighting the ones who value basic human rights and those who operate on greed.

Showcasing the Full Power of the Aeon of Preservation
As an Emanator of Preservation, Diamond has the privilege of borrowing and using the power of theAeon Qlipoth, which he then distributed to the Ten Stonehearts via the Cornerstones. Although players have already seen how Qlipoth is helping the Trailblazer in their Preservation form,Honkai: Star Railstill has a chance to fully showcase the Aeon’s power as it slowly introduces the Ten Stonehearts.
It will also be interesting to see how Diamond utilizes Qlipoth’s power to establish contact with different planets and how he decided to divide the power into individual Cornerstones. The IPC’s mission actually goes against what the Aeon initially believes in, which is to isolate contact between planets in the cosmos.
It’s still too early to tell whether the Ten Stonehearts are inherently good or a new villain faction thatHonkai: Star Railfans need to keep an eye on. Many fans are still slightly disappointed that theAnnihilation Gangwas killed off before the events of the Penacony arc, especially since it was teased that the members might hinder the Trailblazer’s missions.Honkai: Star Railmight need to introduce another impressive villain group, especially one that uses an Aeon’s power, to balance the story out, as well as add depth to mission stories while waiting for the next world to be completed.
