Honkai: Star Raildeveloper HoYoverse has revealed various new stages and rewards that will be available once Version 1.2 launches this week. Players may gain access to the newly added stages by progressing the main story ofHonkai: Star Railand meeting certain criteria along the way.
Honkai: Star RailVersion 1.2will be the largest post-launch update yet with more main story missions, two new areas, and several new playable characters. According to HoYoverse, the new update marks the finale of the main story’s Xianzhou Luofu chapter, and the truth of the Stellaron disaster will be revealed. While progressing through the main story,Honkai: Star Railplayers may summon Blade, Kafka, Luka, and Yukong from new limited-time Event Warps. Players may also unlock new stages, which are combat activities that award valuable loot upon completion.

A new HoYoLab blog post has revealed thatHonkai: Star RailVersion 1.2 will include new Stagnant Shadow, Cavern of Corrosion, and Echo of War stages. These threeHonkai: Star Railstages will be accessible within thenew Alchemy Commission and Scalegorge Waterscape areasafter making sufficient progress in the Xianzhou Luofu story chapter. The first new stage, Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Celestial, is available in Alchemy Commission after completing the “Desolate Depths of Despair” main story mission. Clearing the Stagnant Shadow stage grants Ascendant Debris materials, which may be used to improve and ascend wind-type characters like Blade. More rewards, including all-new Relics, may be acquired by completing the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Elixir Seekers and Echo of War: Immortal Divine Seed stages.
Afterunlocking the Cavern of Corrosion activityand Alchemy Commission area,Honkai: Star Railplayers gain access to Cavern of Corrosion’s Path of Elixir Seeker stage. This particular stage grants the new Longevous Disciple and Messenger Traversing Hackerspace Relics, which are gear pieces that increase stats like overall HP and speed. The Echo of War: Immortal Divine Seed stage is unlocked after completing “A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant” story mission, allowing players to farm for valuable level-up materials, Lucent Afterglow, and additional Relics.
Version 1.2’s new stages should be helpful toward strengthening characters and making more formidable team comps inHonkai: Star Rail. Ascension materials and Relics may be farmed from these stages, so players have the opportunity to create the most optimal builds for Kafka and Blade shortly after acquiring the characters fromVersion 1.2’s new Event Warps.
Honkai: Star RailVersion 1.2 will release on July 19, and players may pre-download the new update right now to minimize the time needed for installation on launch day. Version 1.2 will include two phases just like Version 1.1, so HoYoverse will likely detail more new content in the weeks to come.
