Treasure Vaults may seem intimidating especially if it’s a late-game area, but these mini-dungeons are arguably one of the easiest challenges players will face while playingHogwarts Legacy. A big chunk of the Treasure Vaults involve puzzle-solving, but some of them simply require players to visit them.
While exploring Hogwarts Valley, protagonists will encounter many Treasure Vaults that are scattered around the Region. Keep in mind that gaining access to these vaults will require some spells inHogwarts Legacyto solve a certain puzzle.

It may seem like a big number, which it is,but the existing Hogwarts Legacy puzzlesare much easier to handle in this Region as Students don’t need a variety of Spells to solve riddles. The required incantations are the most used ones like Incendio, Depulso, Wingardium Leviosa, and so on.
Hogwarts Valley Treasure Vaults And How To Open Them In Hogwarts Legacy
A total of 14 Treasure Vaults can befound while exploring Hogwarts Valley. In this Region, players will come across numerous enchanted cubes and each one needs a certain spell to open the vault’s door.
Treasure Vault #1
From the West Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame, head northwest to find the first vault guarded by a couple of spiders. Go inside and claim the chest afterburning the web using a fire spell.
Treasure Vault #2
Return to the West Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame, but this time, summon a broom or a flying mount to fly north up the mountain. Eventually,a destroyed castle can be seenblended with the mountain. Fly down and defeat the enemies then go north to find the enchanted cube.Guide it back to its platform and use Incendioto open the vault’s entrance. To climb the high platform, pull the box near the vault usingAcciothen levitate it by castingLevioso.
Treasure Vault #3
Fast travel to West Hogwarts Valley and fly northeast to reach the third vault. Grab the enchanted cube usingAccio or Wingardium Leviosa and cast Levioso once it’s in its place. To get the treasure, approach the wallnear the room’s entrance to reveal a chest.
Treasure Vault #4
From the same Floo Flame, go southeast to reach the fourth vault, which can be found on a small balcony. Grab the enchanted cube from the hill to the north and guide it back. CastLeviosoand enter the vault. There’ll be a couple of Inferi inside; defeat them and claim the treasure.
Treasure Vault #5
Travel to Keenbridge Floo Flame and go east to find a destroyed castle. Aim at the ground anddestroy the wooden floors to reveal the vault’s entrance. Open the door usingDepulso or Acciothen head inside tosolve the puzzle inHogwarts Legacy.
Treasure Vault #6
Since the sixth vault is in proximity to the previous one, keep heading west to find it next to aMerlin Trial inHogwarts Legacy. Enter anddive into the watersto find a dead body and the treasure on the other side.

Treasure Vault #7
Go to Keenbridge Floo Flame andswim northeast to dive into the seventh vault. Head southeast to find a locked door.
To open it, turn southwest to find the door’s lever then pull it usingAccio. Enter the room to find two treasure chests.
Treasure Vault #8
From the Keenbridge waypoint, fly northeast to see the eighth Treasure Vault. Once inside, some rocks are blocking the room’s entrance,which can be destroyed withDepulsoinHogwarts Legacy. Turn east and burn the vines to find the treasure.
Treasure Vault #9
Head to Northern South Sea Bog Floo Flame and fly northwest. To open the ninth vault, players must find the enchanted cube and castthe correct spell inHogwarts Legacy. Byusing Revelio, it’s possible to find the cube to the northwest. Guide it back and castLeviosoto activate it.
Get inside to find 12 levers and a blocked treasure chest.To find which levers to pull, cast Revelioas the spell marks the required levers in blue. Keep in mind that the set might vary from time to time since the order is random.
Treasure Vault #10
Now, travel to The Mine’s Eye waypoint and run northwest to find the following vault.Defeat the Inferi near the entrancethen blast it open usingAccioorDepulso. Luckily, players can open the chest immediately as there’s no puzzle inside.
Treasure Vault #11
Go to Central Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame and head southeast to find an Ancient Magic spot next to the Treasure Vault. To enter the vault, players must first gain access to the abandoned castle. To open the locked gates,use Depulso on both mechanisms.
Once inside, go west to find the eleventh vault. Pick up the enchanted cube along the way and use Wingardium Leviosa to levitate it onto the second floor, where its platform is. Activate it by flying up and castingLevioso. After that, enter the vault and choose one of the two moving statues to find the treasure.
Treasure Vault #12
The twelfth vault is found east of the Brocburrow Floo Flame. Defeat the Dark Mongrels and turn east to see the vault’s lever.
Go inside the dungeon to spotthree piles of bones, which need to be guided to the platform in the center. This causes a treasure chest to spawn underneath the bones.
Treasure Vault #13
This time, head north from the Brocburrow waypoint to reach the next Treasure Vault. The required enchanted cube is southwest of the vault’s entrance,which is opened by castingGlaciuson the cube once retrieved. To find the chest, go through the portal from the other side and turn around.

Treasure Vault #14
The final Treasure Vault is found south of the Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame and the puzzle inside is a bit tricky. First, open the vault’s door by heading south to pull the lever.
Second, useRevelioinside the vault to find a normal cube on top of a platform, which is the key to solving the puzzle. UseWingardium Leviosaand drag it to the hidden chest near the stairs to lower the ground.
All Necessary Spells To Unlock Hogwarts Valley Treasure Vaults In Hogwarts Legacy
It’s crucial to learn the necessary Spells before exploring any Treasure Vault in Hogwarts Valley.
Accio
Accio can be a powerful Spell in combat especially ifpaired with Descendo inHogwarts Legacy. Learning the Spell is not difficult since it’s naturally taught during one of the Main Quests.
Levioso
Professor Hecat teaches Levioso in one of her Defense Against the Dark Arts classes. The Spell is mostly used in combat to suspend enemies into the air, but Levioso is also great for puzzle-solving.
Wingardium Leviosa
To acquireWingardium Leviosa inHogwarts Legacy, Students must completeProfessor Garlick’s Assignment 1Quest in the Herbology Classroom. The Quest includes two essential tasks, which are:
