Even so, it should not be ignored if players find themselvesfacing powerful foes with deadly attacks inHogwarts Legacy.
Before players even start to think about using Edurus Potions in combat, they’ll need to obtain its recipe.Hogwarts Legacyplayers can get the Edurus Potion recipe with relative ease, although it may require saving up some money.

What Does Edurus Potion Do?
Drinking the Edurus Potion will greatly increase the player’s defenses by turning their skin rocky, allowing them to take much more damage before going down in a fight for a 20-second duration.
This is great against enemies that are much higher level than the player but can also help to conserve Wiggenweld healing potions over the course of longer dungeons. To drink an Edurus Potion, select it on the tool wheel and then press L1 or LB.
Where’s the Edurus Recipe?
The recipe for Edurus can be purchased from J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeadefor just 300 Galleons. This price may seem steep at first, but when compared to some other potion recipes, it is quite reasonable. Players that haven’t yet unlocked Hogsmeade can do so by simply continuing in the story until theyvisit the village with Sebastian or Natty.
How to Make the Edurus Potion
Brewing an Edurus Potion requires the use of a Potions Station. Players first unlock a Potions Station after attending their first Potions Class, but more Potions Stations can be obtained in the Room of Requirement.
Edurus Potions consist of just two ingredients: Ashwinder Eggs and Mongrel Fur. Both of these ingredients can be purchased from J. Pippins Potions, but it is often better and more cost-effective to find them in the wild instead.
Getting the Most Out Of Edurus Potions
Edurus Potions are powerful on their own, but they can be made even more effective with a certain talent. Once playersunlock Talent Points inHogwarts Legacy, they can spend them in the Room of Requirement Talents section to increase the efficacy of Edurus Potions. There is only one talent that modifies the Edurus Potion:
