On Reddit, user pastadudde shared a video that seems to demonstrate just how Ominis dislikes the water inHogwarts Legacy. The footage first shows the player’s character swimming into a cavern where they find a small grotto with a giant squid mural. After some in-game dialogue, the character turns to face the entrance of the cave only to see Ominis pop up out of the water while flailing about. They start spasming and making sounds indicating they are getting hurt by the water. And this continues until the NPC moves himself onto dry land and on until Ominis flies off towards the ceiling of the grotto.
According to the Redditor, they used a specificHogwarts Legacycharacter modthat allowed them to bring Ominis during this quest. Fans will likely recall that this storyline is only available for players who chose to be part of Slytherin House, and is normally done alone. However, with the use of this companion mod, pastadudde was able to capture such a hilarious moment with Ominis. Comments on the Reddit thread seemed to enjoy the footage, wondering if the Slytherin really felt bad about being in the water, given how his pained moans sounded very similar to pleasure.
There have been a lot of reportedglitches featuring Ominis inHogwarts Legacy, and though this one might be caused by a mod, it is likely that players will discover more.
