Draco slumped against the wall when he saw Hermione’s wand at the ready. While Ron talked her down, she wasn’t going to back down. She punched Draco in the face, and he fled the scene. Hermione is a multifaceted character, and her rebuke is a testament to her captivating arc in theHarry Potterfranchise.

This Hermione quote sums up her resolve to excel at Hogwarts. She knows how far she has come, and outshines everyone her class. She takes her academic life at Hogwarts seriously, and it makes perfect sense that she would prefer being mauled to death by the three-headed dog over expulsion.
This quote provides some comedic relief after a tense moment. The trio ends up in the forbidden third-floor corridor as the staircases change, and after running fromthe caretaker, Argus Filch, they find themselves staring at a three-headed dog. After the trio makes it out alive, Hermione excuses herself, and delivers this standout quote.

Ron does quite the opposite of the swish and flick wrist movement, prompting Hermione to step in and deliver this memorable line. Her dialogue delivery, expressions, and passive-aggressive eye-roll response to Ron’s clumsy attempt are on point.

Hermione says the above as she wanders into Harry and Ron’s Hogwarts Express compartment. She stands at the door, and hears Ron’s incantation of a spell that he claims his brother, Fred taught him to turn his pet rat, Scabbersto the color yellow.
The scene immediately establishes that Hermione - a Muggle-born is prepared for Hogwarts, unlike Ron, who has a rich magical heritage. Hermione also fixes Harry’s glasses by using the “Oculus Reparo” spell. In the end, Ron and Harry are in awe of the brilliant girl who just walked in.
The defining aspects of Hermione’s character are her discipline and zest for knowledge, and these traits come through when she admonishes Harry and Ron for not reading enough. Fluffy is locked in Hogwarts, and Hermione is the first to notice he is standing on a trap door, guarding something precious.
Hagrid warns the trio not to meddle but blurts out that whatever Fluffy is guarding is between Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel. The trio does exactly the opposite of what they are told and Hermione brings a giant book to the library that she’d checked out “for a bit of light reading.” This is where,the Philosopher’s Stoneand its maker, Flamel’s names come up. Hermione has to educate her friends about Flamel and the importance of thislegendary stone with “astonishing powers.”

Hermione and Ron make a dynamic duo, and they stick by Harry in various situations, right from the firstHarry Pottermovie to the last. However, inThe Half-Blood Prince, they are at odds over Ron’s relationship with Lavender.
When Ron lies in the hospital wing, Hermione gives it to his flame. Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor Slughorn, Professor McGonagall, Harry, and Ginny Weasley are witnesses to this argument. Lavender objects to Hermione’s presence, while she balks back at her, calling her a “daft Dimbo!” It’s a light-hearted moment in a movie that’s about to take a dark turn.
