InGenshin Impact, players need an astounding amount of materials to create all of the food, alchemy recipes, and more. While out in the worldfarming for Mora, solving quests, and killing enemies, players can also farm for delicious ingredients to make some potent food. One of these ingredients is theSweet Flower.

However, despite the benefits that large content drops bring to a game like Genshin Impact, it has made it incredibly apparent how important good item collection practices can be. With this in mind, this guide will be updated again to add a few alternative ways to collectSweet Flowers in Genshin Impact, as well as clarify some key points explored in the guide already.
Sweet Flowers in Genshin Impact
Sweet Flowersare, according toGenshin Impact, “Particularly fragrant flowers. They can be found easily, even in the dark. Just follow the scent.” Theycan be processed into sugarto make a variety of dishes, or theycan be used unprocessed to make a Sweet Madame. A Sweet Madame is a recipe available at the beginning of the game, and it restores 20 - 24% of Max HP and an additional 900 - 1,500 HP when eaten.

ThisGenshin Impactrecipeis also used to complete the quest called “Old Tastes Die Hard,” for a Mr. Zhu in Guili Plains. The quest can be a good way to get a quick 20Primogem, in addition to the recipe for Zhongyuan Chop Suey, so players may want to stock up on sweet flowers ahead of time for this recipe.
Purchasing Sweet Flower Locations
Sweet Flowers can be purchased from Flora, the florist; she can be found right near the entrance ofMondstadt and has some quests for players looking to complete the City of Wind and Song. Players can purchase 10 per day from her for 200Moraeach. If players are looking to grab more than 10 in one day, however, they will have to go and pick some themselves.
Picking Sweet Flower Locations
It’s a little harder to pin down exactly where players should pick these flowers, since they grow all over Teyvat, the world thatGenshin Impact’s mapis located in.Players can find Sweet Flowers all over Mondstadt and all over Liyue. The maps showing the spawn points are not particularly helpful, because the areas are so large.
However, there are a couple of key places where Sweet Flowers spawn fairly close together:

It is not advised for players to look for Sweet Flowers in Liyue or Inazuma, as the difficult terrain and low spawn rate can make finding the flowers more inefficient. As of version 2.4, Dragonspine is the only region to not have any Sweet Flowers.
Other Ways To Get Sweet Flowers
In addition to collecting via scavenging and from Flora, Sweet Flowers can also be collected through expeditions and farming. Of these, collecting Sweet Flowers through expeditions tends to be the more efficient option.Sweet Flowers and Bird Eggs can be obtained via the expedition in the Stormbearer Mountains, with a 20-hour expedition giving 8 to 12 Sweet Flowers.
This may not be as immediate as scavenging Sweet Flowers, however, expeditions are one of the few passive ways to collect the material. In just a week, this method can give players an extra56 to 84 Sweet Flowersfor little to no effort.
Additionally, Sweet Flowers can also be obtained by the farming feature in the Serenitea Pot. That said, this method takes a little more effort than in the case of expeditions. In order to plant Sweet Flowers, the player must first collect their seeds from the overworld flowers (with the Seed Dispensary). Afterward, the player will also need to purchase more seeds in the Realm Depot and any other gardening plots needed.
That said, should the player be willing to make these investments, this can be a very profitable way to make extra Sweet Flowers. When grown in the gardening system, Sweet Flowers willneed 2 days and 22 hours to grow.
A Word of Caution
There is aGenshin Impactenemytype that hides as a Sweet Flower on the map. Whopperflowers are flower-shaped enemies that pretend to be Sweet Flowers in order to lull unsuspecting victims into range before attacking.The only way to tell the difference between a real Sweet Flower and a Whopperflower is to make sure that the flower displays a hand icon when interacting with it, and not the “…” icon. Any flowers with the “…” icon instead of the hand will be an enemy and not a cooking material. They appear usually where there are large groupings of Sweet Flowers.
