Genshin Impact’s open world Teyvat is filled with breathtaking locations and terrifying monsters that await for their battle with the Traveler. However, some enemies are much more friendly, and they won’t act unless they get attacked first.
The Unusual Hilichurl, better known as Wei, is an Easter egg enemy that spawns in 14 different locations around the locations of Mondstadt and Liyue. A new video on the officialGenshin ImpactsubReddit shows a player’s interesting interaction with the game’s most unusual Hilichurl.

Reddit user carlo1231 has shared an interesting video in which he took the Unusual Hilichurl Wei on a trip around Teyvat beforehitting Adventure Rank 60, which can take most players months. If left alone, Wei will remain in the same spot for around 12 hours before respawning in another location. The video does not show how a player managed to get Wei to Mondstadt, but players speculate that this was done by simply pushing his model all the way to the big city.
The video has quickly become a fan-favorite as it gathered almost 4k upvotes. A couple of comments claim that they feel saddened by the ending as Jean managed to draw Wei in the water that surrounds the city of Mondstadt. Multiple replies state that this story needs to be in the next edition of Teyvat Times which is the game’s newspaper that featuresvarious stories around the world ofGenshin Impact.
Fans were also expecting Wei’s journey around Teyvat to end on the graveyard behind the Favonious Cathedral, however carlo1231 decided to prolong their trip. Players also claim that it feels satisfying that Jean is the one to end Wei’s life considering that she’s the Acting Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius.Jean’s unique Elemental Skill called Gale Bladeallows players to get creative while interacting with the game’s objects, especially when they’re waiting for their Resin to fill up.
A lot of players state that it’s quite sad that Jean used to be one of thestrongest characters inGenshin Impactbut she’s now used mostly for creating hilarious interactions with objects in the game’s environment. She is part of the Standard Banner which means that players have to spend a fortune before maxing out her constellation levels. The community hopes that developer HoYoverse could introduce an easier way to acquire Standard Banner characters.
