A new leak fromGenshin Impactgives players their first look at new character Kaveh, planned to come to the game in a future update. Recent leaks for HoYoVerse’s massively popular RPG have revealed several characters planned to come to the game throughout upcoming versions.Long-awaited fan-favorites like Scaramouche and Baizhuhave been leaked alongside unrevealed new characters like Faruzan. Now, a recent leak has given players a preview of what Kaveh will look like when he arrives.
The newest reveal from prominentGenshin Impactleaker Plusle shows off Kaveh’s in-game appearance for the first time. Kaveh plays close to the previously leaked concept art for the character, retaining the facial features from the art albeit with different clothing. A moderator for the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit also provides more information about Kaveh based on previously discovered information. Kaveh is believed to be a four-star Dendro character who will wield a Claymore. However, a release date has yet to be determined.

Kaveh’s introduction toGenshin Impactcomes as the character already has connections with several members ofGenshin Impact’s cast. Kaveh is the architect who created the Sumeru region’s Palace of Alcazarzaray location and lives with Alhaitham, who has played a major role in Sumeru’s Archon Quest. Kaveh has also been mentioned in voice lines by every Sumeru character released so far, with the architect having close relations with Dori, Tighnari, and Cyno.
Leaks about Kaveh’s appearance come as the newest in a long line of future characters revealed to be coming toGenshin Impact. The game’s recent “Of Ballads and Brews” event introduced players to the Knights of Favonius’Mika who has been leaked to be a four-star Cryo character. Sumeru’s story has teased several characters from the game’s newest region planned for future updates like Dehya, Alhaitham, and Nahida. A previousGenshin Impacttrailer also revealed the other members of the Fatui’s Harbingers, with many of the game’s antagonists speculated to be playable at some point.
While players may be waiting a while for Kaveh to come toGenshin Impact, the game’s Version 3.2 update next week will introduce another popular character to the game. Version 3.2 is set to introducethe Dendro Archon Nahida, who has played a major role in the ongoing story for Sumeru. Leaks of Nahida’s kit have also suggested the character will be an extremely powerful addition to Dendro-focused parties, having particularly strong synergy with the recently released Nilou. Kaveh may not be playable for some time, but his appearance in-game hints that he will be involved in the story very soon.
