A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about the five-star characters that will be featured in the upcoming version 4.0. Developer HoYoverse has already officially confirmed the arrival of three new Fontaine characters, Lynette, Lyney, and Freminet, all of whom are rumored to be related.
Rumors claim that while Lyney is expected to be a five-star unit, Freminet, and Lynette will have a lower rarity. The fact that Lyney will be the only new five-starGenshin Impactcharacter means that the first Limited Character Banners in Fontaine will feature three different re-runs.

A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed which five-star characters will be featured in the two banner cycles during update 4.0. According to the leak, the first part of the update will feature the new Pyro user Lyney and the popular Hydro character Yelan while Childe and Zhongli are scheduled for the second banner cycle.RecentGenshin Impact4.0 beta datahas confirmed that Lyney will be a new DPS character whose kit revolves around using his Charged Attack. Similar to Ganyu, Lyney’s Charged Attack will have two different damage levels which are determined by the charging time. Taunting enemies is also a big part of his kit which will give players enough time to reposition themselves when needed. Yelan is one of the most popular five-star characters in the game and her last appearance alongside Hu Tao has broken the game’s overall revenue record.
She is one of, if not thebest Hydro character inGenshin Impactthanks to a stacked kit that allows her to perform in almost every team composition type. Even though she can dish out tons of Hydro damage, her best role is sub-DPS since most of his damage effects can stay on the field when she gets swapped out.
Tartaglia, better known as Childe, is also a very powerful Hydro user whose primary role is DPS. There is a chance that he also appears in the main storylinealongside other Harbingers like Arlecchinowho has officially been introduced as one of Fontaine’s main antagonists.
Zhongli’s banner appearance could mean that HoYoverse will follow the same pattern of featuring one Archon per update after a new major region arrives. He is the by far the bestGeo character inGenshin Impactthanks to a very powerful kit that allows him to create powerful shields as well as dish out tons of burst damage with his Planet Befall.
