Genshin Impact2.1 arrives with two new islands for the fans to explore:Seirai and Watatsumi. These locations are the opposite of each other; while Watatsumi has a serene atmosphere, Seirai is intense and dark. The center of Seirai is even consumed by an eternal storm.

Along with new bosses andlocal specialties,Genshin Impact2.1also brings more puzzlesand quests to the new locations. Other than the Seirai Stormchasers quest that unlocks the Thunder Manifestation, Seirai Island also has another puzzle quest called the “Relics of Seirai.”
How to start the Relics of Seirai World Quest
Players can start the Relics of Seirai quest by findingFujiwara Toshiko.There will be three Hilichurls attacking her, so players have to defeat the enemies first. After defeating the enemies, Fujiwara Toshiko will tell the Traveler that she’s looking for treasure. She asks the Traveler to protect her some more, and in return, she will split the treasure.
Then, Fujiwara Toshiko gives the Traveler a hint on how to obtain this treasure in the form of amap showing a rotation of three symbols. This is the key to finishing the Relics of Seirai quest.
Activating the Mechanism in Relics of Seirai World Quest
Fujiwara Toshiko will head to the place containing the treasure, so players have to follow her and solve thefirst puzzle. To do so, players have to"Start" the Mechanism using the lever next to Fujiwara Toshiko.

Afterward, the Traveler has to step on the symbols in the correct order.It doesn’t matter which symbol is activated first, as long as it follows the rotation. If this is done properly, a basement will open.
How to activate the Mechanism in the basement
In the basement, there will be a similar puzzle, but larger. To complete it, people have toStart the Mechanism, then light up all the tiles by stepping on them. There are some important points to keep in mind when doing this:
How to Activate the Mechanism Again in Relics of Seirai World Quest
After finishing the first Mechanism, the puzzle will change, and players have to activate the Mechanism again. After doing so, theCommon Chestwill unlock, and Fujiwara Toshiko will take the treasure inside it.
However, Fujiwara Toshiko discovers that the Chest contains nothing except a single picture. Disappointed, she tells the Traveler that it is not possible to split the treasure. Therefore, she decides to pay the Traveler with something else instead.
Fujiwara Toshiko exits the basement, and she’ll be halted byTreasure Hoarders. The Traveler has to defeat the enemies before continuing. Unfortunately, it seems Treasure Hoarders aren’t the only ones who want the treasure as players will have to alsodefeat a group ofSamuraito protect Fujiwara Toshiko.
After defeating the Samurai, there will be one last wave of enemies,theFatui Skirmishers. Once the Fatuis are taken care of, the Traveler can continue to Fujiwara Toshiko’s camp in peace, where she will properly pay the hero for their assistance.
