Travelers and Paimon have been working hard along with other characters like Neuvillette and Navia to find the Prophecy Slates and expose the true identity of the Hydro Archon.
While undergoingFurina’s trialinGenshin Impact, players must look over dozens of clues and connect some dots todevelop a satisfying answer inGenshin Impact. At the end of the Quest, both the Traveler and all of Fontaine will find out the real truth behind the Hydro Archon’s identity.
Furina’s Trial can be split into three essential parts:
Proving Furina Is Not The Hydro Archon
At first, Furina defends herself by saying she lived more than 500 years, how can she be a normal human?
Players theorize that Furina may have a curse, which is the reason why she suppressed a normal human’s lifespan.
Next, Travelers will try to prove that Furina is not the true master of the Oratrice.
Players remind Furina that she was surprised and didn’t understand theVerdictwhen Oratricedeclared Childe guilty inGenshin Impact.
After establishing that Furina may be human, it’s nowtime to prove it inGenshin Impact.
Naviaand the Traveler present a sample of Primordial Sea water to test ifFurinawill dissolve in it, thus proving she’s a human.
The “Real Events” Related To The Prophecy On The Prophecy Slates
Here’s how to connect the events from all four Prophecy Slates:
After the Traveler explains the full prophecy to the Fontainians based on the previous verifications,Neuvillette accepts the truthand proceeds to uncover the hidden words etched on the slates using his powers. Upon decoding the hidden layer of information,Neuvillettereveals that players have deciphered the third and fourth slates incorrectly and begin recounting the story of the Hydro Archon.
It appears that the fourth slate can’t be verified by the intrusion of the Primordial Seainto the Fortress of Meropide inGenshin Impact. In fact, Neuvillette considers it a warning and asks Travelers to re-decode the fourth slate to find out the true source of the catastrophe.
