Since every Dendro reaction inGenshin Impactis important to make the most of the team synergy, it’s essential to understand how Bloom reactions work. When Hydro and Dendro meet on the same enemy, a Bloom reaction occurs and a Dendro Core will be summoned next to them. After a few seconds, the Bloom will explode dealing Dendro DMG. With that effect alone, Bloom is extremely unreliable and will hold back any team composition built around it.

Fortunately, there are two essentialGenshin Impactcharacters that work perfectly with Dendro Cores. BothNilouandKavehhave their own synergy with Dendro Cores and can maximize their usage without players having to rely on Hyperbloom and Burgeon to make the most of every Bloom reaction.
5Kaveh + Xingqiu + Nahida + Venti
Kaveh is a strongDendro user inGenshin Impactwho can effectively operate as the Main DPS in a Bloom team comp. With his Elemental Burst, Kaveh will keep dealing Dendro DMG throughout the duration of his Burst. As for his Elemental Skill, he’s able to scan the Dendro Cores around him and detonate them. Add Xingqiu to help Kaveh from the off-field with his amazing Hydro application, and both Kaveh and Xingqiu will be able to trigger many Bloom reactions.
In this team, Nahida plays a strict role of being the debuffer instead of Kaveh since she’s able to easily reach any enemy with her Elemental Skill and can keep triggering Deepwood Memories’ passive on every single enemy she’s tagging. This gives players more freedom to build Kaveh with offensive artifact sets like Gilded Dreams or Flower of Paradise Lost, which are able to improve his overall damage.

Since the Dendro Cores won’t explode unless Kaveh cast his Elemental Skill, players can collect them all with the enemies using Venti’s Burst. After that, Kaveh can detonate the Cores and cause a lot of damage. Venti can also battery Xingqiu’s Burst or anyHydro unit that was chosen instead of Xingqiu. Yelan, Ayato, and Kokomi are all viable replacements that can easily have their Burst back since they’re the only Element Venti can infuse his Burst with.
Team Roles
4Nahida + Xingqiu + Nilou + Yaoyao
With this Bloom team comp, players will depend on Nahida to lead the team’s damage and create a pair with Xingqiu to continuously produce Dendro Cores. These Cores willbecome Bountiful Cores thanks to the A4 passive of Nilouand cause them to explode immediately, dealing massive Dendro DMG.

As these Blooms cause a lot of friendly fire,it is important to have a healer to protect the teamfrom their own damage. Yaoyao can play that role with her Elemental Skill and Burst while still producing Bountiful Cores and keeping the Dendro DMG wheel ongoing.
3Nahida + Kokomi + Nilou + Dendro MC
Both Nahida and Kokomi have amazing on-field and off-field Elemental applications, so players can operate with one of them as the main DPS. However, given how reliable and strong Nahida’s off-field Dendro application is, it’s safe to prioritize Kokomi to lead the team, especially with herbetter overall damage when equipped with Ocean-Hued Clam.
For the last slot, players can go for another Dendro unit like the Dendro MC or Collei to improve the creation of Bountiful Cores and unlock the Dendro Resonance, whichincreases the team’s Elemental Mastery.

2Ayato + Nilou + Nahida + Yaoyao
Previously,Nilouteam suffers due to the lack of Dendro healers, but since now Yaoyao and Baizhu are available, players can bring another Hydro other than Kokomi or Barbara to the team. For this Bloom team comp, Ayato works as the Main DPS that can hit his Hydro-infused Normal Attack in a wide AoE on top of his enormous Elemental Burst Hydro rain.
1Kaveh + Xingqiu + Baizhu + Nilou
This team can cause a remarkable amount of damage with each Dendro Core becauseKaveh,Baizhu, and Nilou have passives that greatly buff their Bloom reactions. For instance, Kaveh’s Elemental Burst and his C4 both add a notable amount of damage to the Blooms created by him and his team. Baizhu’s A4 ascension’s passive adds an enormous amount of damage to anyDendro reaction inGenshin Impact, including Bloom. As for Nilou, her Bountiful Cores are one of the most hard-hitting Cores because of the amount of damage she adds to each one of them.

Now add the passive of Flower of Paradise Lost set that increases the damage of Bloom reactions by 40% in addition to the passive of Deepwood Memories set that shreds enemies' resistance to Dendro by 30% and those Dendro Cores become explosives, not cute little Bloom reactions anymore.
However, despite the many bonuses players get, note that this team may bea little clunkywhen compared to the other setups. This team has to rely on Kaveh’s Dendro-infused Burst and Baizhu’s periodical Dendro hit from his Burst to apply the plant-related Element, so there are no frequent instances of application like players will get with other characters like Nahida + Yaoyao. Additionally, investing in Energy Recharge becomes a must as both Kaveh and Baizhu can’t battery themselves perfectly.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
