The third year of the massively popular HoYoverse RPG has been an eventful time, with plenty of new expansions and content. The Sumeru region would see multiple map expansions following its initial debut in August 2022 and the developer recently debuted its fifth major playable region withFontaine’s launch last month. Now, the game’s newest web event is heralding in a new year for the RPG.
Genshin Impacthas often featured multiple of its web events throughout the game’s many patches, offering plenty of in-game rewards as bonuses. Web events typically release to commemorate the launch of the RPG’s newest characters or as a preview for the new content coming with the game’s next update. Alongside a multitude of in-game resources like Hero’s Wits and Enhancement Ore, each web event also comes with a small Primogem reward for participating players. Now, HoYoverse has launched a special web event to commemorate another year ofGenshin Impact.

Genshin Impactofficially launched its newest web event on Thursday, titled “Dream of Roving Stars,” featuring recaps of players' past year. The web event shares a plethora of details from the time spent playing the game since the last anniversary, including fun tidbits like how much Mora a player spent and players' most hunted enemies. Completing each unique section covering different parts of the player’s past year grants 30 or 40 Primogems and 2 Hero’s Wit experience items as rewards, fora total of 180 Primogems. Fans can also share the event for Mora rewards and in-game food items.
Genshin Impact’s web event celebrating the game’s third anniversary comes alongside new login rewards for players as part of the celebrations. Version 4.1 features two separate rewards campaigns gifting players with up to 1600 Primogems, 10 Intertwined Fates, and unique gadgets for logging into the game for 7 days. The update also brought the first expansion to the game’s newest region of Fontaine, addinga new chapter to the Archon Questand new areas to explore.Genshin Impactplayers will be able to participate in the web event through October 12.
The plethora of rewards available forGenshin Impactcomes as the game has multiple highly-anticipated characters coming soon. Version 4.1 saw the release of Fontaine’s Chief Justice Neuvillette as its first featured five-star character, with Fortress of Meropide Administrator Wriothesley coming during the second half. The following Version 4.2 update was also recently revealed tofeature Hydro Archon Furinaas its lone featured five-star character.Genshin Impact’s anniversary rewards will look to help players saving up for its lineup of upcoming characters.
