Epic Games has kicked offFortniteWinterfest 2022, an event that brings free skins and more to the battle royale. Every year,Fortniteplayers celebrate the holidays with this event and its free items, with a previous edition of the event giving away askin that turnedFortniteplayers into a Christmas tree.
Fortniteplayers welcomed Season 1 of Chapter 4, which has a theme of “a new beginning.” The season brought several new features, including the rebuilding of Reality Zero and the island, which is now known as Asteria Island. The game is also releasing new crossovers with famous names from pop culture, but amidst so much new content, the familiar holiday event is back with several goodies.

One of thebest Christmas events in video games,FortniteWinterfest 2022 is available until July 08, 2025, with free items that players can get without any complicated process. To do so, gamers simply have to login every day and open a gift in the Winterfest Lodge. The free items will be two skins, two gliders, two wraps, three lobby tracks, three sprays, a back bling, a pickaxe, a contrail, emote, and an emoticon. Epic Games has not revealed what all the gifts will be except for the skins, which are Arctic Adeline and Sled Ready Guff. If the player misses a day of login, they can access the Lodge before the event ends and open the gift for that day.
During Winterfest 2022Fortniteplayers will see the return of some equipment in the Battle Royale/Zero Build. One of them is the Snowball Launcher, which will replace one ofFortnite’s best weapons in the current season, the Rocket Launcher. The other item that is back is the Holliday Present, which players can throw to pick up the items inside. To ensure the safety of the island, Sgt. Winter is back with his special big rig and throwing Holliday Presents at players.
Players can check out the islands chosen in Winterfest Callout to appear during Winterfest 2022, and get two more free items. The first is the Guff Gringle skin: launchFortnitefrom the Epic Games Launcher on PC during the event and redeem the skin in the in-game store. The second item is the free Curling Iron emote, which can be obtained playing any mode during the event with five different friends from the friends' list. Members of theFortniteCrew subscription systemwill get the reactive Chill-la-la-Llama back bling, which sneezes every time the player eliminates a player or opens a chest. The new Snowdancer skin will appear in the store, and the Cozy Knit Jonesy skin is making a return.
FortniteWinterfest 2022 maintains its status as an event beloved by the community since it gives out so many free rewards. With new battle pass skins to unlock, a new map to explore, and a possible crossover betweenFortniteand a major horror franchise, players are ending the year with plenty of content to enjoy.
