As usual,Fortnitecontinues to evolve and change at a constant rate for players. Not only has Chapter 4 launched at the start of December 2022, but the game has added even more majorcrossover characters including the DOOM Slayer and Geralt of Rivia. In addition,My Hero Academiabecame the next big anime crossover to arrive inFortnite, following in the footsteps ofNarutoandDragon Ball Z.
In addition to all of that new content, the annual Winterfest seasonal event also arrived, letting players once againvisit the Cozy Lodge for 14 free giftsas well as other hidden surprises around the space. The holiday inspired event also brought with it the Snowball Launcher and Holiday Present, two items which only make their appearance during this winter event. Epic is also offering even more free items through visiting specific islands chosen for the Winterfest Callout as well.

As expected, each week ofChapter 4 Season 1 inFortniteoffers players new opportunities to earn XP and other rewards through additional challenges. One of the tasks inside of the Into the Wild set has players hunting down frogs from 5 meters or less. Here are the locations players should check as well as other tips on how to accomplish this.
Finding Frogs in Fortnite
While the challenge itself is very straightforward, the biggest stumbling block this challenge presents is the fact that frogs are very small and difficult to find. While they can be found in various places of theFortnitemap, players will want to check out any areas near sources of water and the foliage that is there.
While there are plenty of areas that fit that description, here are some of the best places to check:
Tips and Rewards
Ultimately, players will need to be quite close to the frogs in order to satisfy the 5 meters or less requirement. Close range weapons like an SMG or shotgun will be the best help here as players need to not only make sure that they’re standing very close to the frog, but take it out before it can run away or put more than 5 meters of distance between themselves and the player.The newly added Shockwave Hammercan also be a viable choice, provided the player can get their hands on one. With the frog wanting to escape to safety, players will need to act fast once they’re in range.
Completing the challenge awards players with 16,000 XP which should go a long way to helping to earn moreFortniteBattle Pass stars to unlock new content.
