During the Fan Festival in London,Final Fantasy 14revealed the start date for theFall Guyscollaboration event. If the gameplay footage it shared is any indication, this newFinal Fantasy 14minigame will be one of its most frantic ones yet.

At the first FanFest in Las Vegas,Final Fantasy 14announced its crossover event withFall Guys. This was a two-way collaboration, withFinal Fantasy 14cosmetics coming toFall Guys, and an obstacle course inspired by the party game coming to the Gold Saucer in the critically-acclaimed MMORPG.

Now,Final Fantasy 14has revealed when the event is coming to the game. Starting October 31, alongside Patch 6.51, players will be able to participate in a specialFall GuysGold Saucer event. Players will race through obstacle courses inspired byFall Guys, but with aFinal Fantasy 14twist. The gameplay clip showed a hectic marriage betweenFF14mechanicsand characters alongside recognizable traps, tricks, and environments fromFall Guys. What’s more, players can earn specialFall Guyscosmetics, including minions and glamours, by participating.

Though the exact details of how the event works will become apparent once the collaboration is live,Final Fantasy 14director and producer Naoki Yoshida sharedthe basics during the convention. The minigame will match up to 24 players against one another, after which they must survive a chaotic course that makes Gold Saucer attractions like The Slice is Right and Leap of Faith seem simple. TheFall Guysevent will not always be available in the Gold Saucer, butFinal Fantasy 14plans to bring it back on a regular cycle.

Unfortunately, theFinal Fantasy 14event withinFall Guyshas already come to an end. From August 22 through October 3, players could collect eightFinal Fantasy 14costumes for their bean-likeFall Guysavatars, as well as several emotes, nameplates, nicknames, and other cosmetics. It is currently unclear if the event will return toFall Guysin the future.
