How to Get the Hellcat Power Armor in Fallout 76
To get the Hellcat Power Armor, the player will need tofinishthe Steel Reign quest line. For that, they must first A Knight’s Penance Quest at Fort Atlas and continue the storyline until they beat the Catalyst mission. This is when Shin or Rahmani rewards the player with the Hellcat PA.
Hellcat is non-tradable, and there is also no way to purchase its plans. Therefore, completing the Steel Reign questline is the only way to obtain it.
How to Get the Mods for the Hellcat PA
Hellcat’s modification plans are available at Vault 79. The player must visit Regs to purchase them in exchange for Gold Bullion. But note that the mod plans are costly; buying all of them could cost up to a whopping 32,000Gold Bullion—200 to 3,000 each.
The only mods that are worthy of the investment are Calibrated Shocks, which increase Carry Weight; Emergency Protocols, which boost speed and resistance when low in health; Targeting HUD, whichhighlights living enemies like VATS.
Is the Hellcat Power Armor Worth It
Stat-wise, Hellcat is notthe strongest Power Armor inFallout 76. But thanks to its natural effect and viability, it is considered the best option for players who don’t ownthe T-65 PA. Hellcat is worth it because (1) it’s free, and (2) it comes with an extra 12% ballistic damage resistance on top of the base 42%.
The biggest disadvantage of Hellcat is its mods. Gold-Bullion-exclusive mods are not as feasible as other Power Armors’ modifications, making it extra challenging to upgrade Hellcat. But if price and resources are not a concern, the player should invest in this PA because it compares to the best suits in the game.
