Since the launch ofFall Guyslast week on Steam and PS4, players have speculated what in-game collaborations the battle royale could see. Players who pre-ordered the game on Steam were treated to anexclusiveHalf-Lifeoutfit, complete with a headcrab, leaving theFall Guyscommunity hopeful that more Valve related costumes were coming. It seems this hope is becoming a reality as theFall GuysTwitter account tweeted the next skin coming to the game is from the classic first-person shooter,Team Fortress.
With the surging popularity ofFall Guysover the past week, multiple brands have reached out via Twitter about joining forces with the obstacle course battle royale. Whether these are serious inquiries or merely just cashing in on the popularity is hard to tell, however, that hasn’t stopped players from sharingconcepts like a Chuck E. Cheese inspired skinon social media.

While outfits making players look like their favorite pizza dealing rat orMetal Gear Solid’s Solid Snakestill live in the world of what-ifs, the officialFall GuysTwitter made another crossover a reality. Starting later today, players on the Steam version ofFall Guyscan purchase The Scout outfit using crowns on the in-game store. This outfit will allow players to don the trappings of the speedy Scout from Valve’sTeam Fortressfranchise.
While the tweet did not state how much the parts of The Scout outfit will cost in the store, many are speculating that it will cost 5 crowns for each part, for a total of 10 crowns. This would be consistent with the previous video game costumes made available on the in-game store like Alyx from theHalf-Lifeseries, as well as Jacket fromHotline Miami.
The confirmation of The Scout skin coming toFall Guyscertainly seems to lend credence to a recent datamine that uncovered other upcoming video game collaborations. Other skins found in this data include other Valve games, like Peabody and Chell from thePortalseries, as well as references toEnter the Gungeon,My Friend Pedro, andThe Messenger.
While this news will be exciting for Steam players, it is a little disappointing there haven’t been any PS4 exclusive outfits announced yet. It would be hilarious to see characters dressed in a Nathan Drake or Kratos skin as they climb Fall Mountain to grab the crown. Even a Sackboy outfit would be adorable to see in-game, and perhaps a Fall Guy could even make an appearance inSackboy: A Big Adventureto make things even. It looks like PS4 players will just have to wait and see if an exciting crossover like that will come there way sometime soon.
