Florin is the currency players will use inFae Farmto upgrade their equipment, tools, and resources, alongside also being needed to upgrade the cabin, but unfortunately, it can be quite hard to come by in a playthrough when following the main objectives. Luckily, there are still a few ways to make some quick cash that won’t require the player to spend too much time away from their homestead, and considering the multitude of different ways Florin can be spent, it’s well worth knowing the best ways to acquire it quickly and easily.

It needs to be said first though that collecting high amounts of Florin becomes much easier once the player is already a few hours into the game and has finished up all the tutorial quests that involvecollecting certain resourcesand getting used to the crafting system. The vast open world of Azoria is full of areas and locales that are extremely rich in Florin, and there are also plenty of tools that can be crafted which can make earning money so much easier than it would be otherwise, so for anyone looking to save up some Florin to upgrade their resources and cabin, these are the tips they should think about taking on board.
Invest In A Gem Polisher
A Gem Polisher can be crafted with 2 iron ingots, 20 rough citrine, and 15 rough peridot, but while it initially might seem fairly expensive to build, it’s one of the best tools for making money fast for anyone interested in exploring the many dungeons the game has to offer. After picking out a few raw and rough gems from a dungeon, simply place 10 of them into the Gem Polisher, and a polished version will pop out which will be worth a staggering amount more when sold in a market.
The easiest gem to find is citrine, which can be acquired by digging through the Saltwater Mines, but it’s in the Floating Ruins where the most money can be made since these will contain sapphire and rose quartz which will sell for 438 and 500 Florins, respectively. Exploring the many big and expansive dungeons that are scattered throughout the game world is already extremely fun, especially whenplaying alongside a buddy, but the Gem Polisher makes each excavation that much more rewarding.

Take Some Time To Fish
The player will gain access to abasic fishing rodvery early on as part of the tutorial, and while it’s easy to be preoccupied with the main quest at this point, it’s very worthwhile to enjoy some fishing once the tutorial is over. Not only is the minigame extremely relaxing and a great way to break up the busyness of the day, but it’s also an extremely easy way to make money.

Everything that can be caught from fishing can be sold in the Town Market for a pretty penny, though some fish will only be available to catch during a certain time of the day or season. The most valuable type of fish that will sell for 35 Florin is the Rainbow Trout, which can be found in the upper streams during the spring and summer, and they’re very recognizable for their shiny glowing appearance. However, another expensive fish that appears all year round, which can be found off the coast, is the Rockfish, which sells for 35 Florin each. The minimum amount a fish can sell for is 20 Florin, so it’s really never a bad idea to whip the fishing rod out when saving up for a new upgrade or cabin.
Complete Shipping Contracts
Shipping Contracts can be unlocked as soon as the player finishes exploring the Saltwater Mines. These small side-objectives can initially seem like somewhat of an afterthought when they are first introduced, but they can net a lot of money in barely any time at all, especially if the player has already spent agood amount of time exploring the environmentand has the requested items on hand.
The way these contracts work is by returning specific items in exchange for a set amount of Florin, but more often than not, the items are very common and simple to find such as wool, fish, and crops for example. Sometimes, contracts will even request polished gems, which will sell for thousands of Florins. It’s important to remember that the items will be swapped out every 14 in-game days, so while they won’t be available all the time, it’s heavily advised to finish them when they appear.

Keep An Eye Out For Rare Bugs
Players will be introduced to bug-catching in their first few hours of exploring Azoria, and while any bug can be sold for some pocket change, rare and shiny creatures will sell for a lot more, and they can be spotted extremely easily because of their glowing appearance. Two of the mostcommon rare crittersare the Luster Bloblin and Rose Buddy, which can both be found flying across the Fae Realm during the evening.

Catching rare creatures will require the player to already have an upgraded Critter Net that can be enhanced by paying a visit to Mel. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to skip straight to the Master Critter Net from a basic one, so the player will need to slowly enhance their net through each tier before having the best of the best. While buying better nets will cost a decent amount of Florin, it can be worthwhile to do some fishing first and sell off any unneeded items to build up money before then buying better tools, such as the Master Critter Net anda better pickaxe, to then acquire the more valuable items in the game to sell off later.
Start Crafting Seals
Despite how easy they are to craft, Dungeon Seals are incredibly useful and more or less essential whenexploring some of the bigger dungeons. Dungeon Seals act as fast-travel points that can be used during an excavation, making it much easier to move back and forth on different floors to dig out as many valuable gems and ores as possible.
A Seal Crafting Station will need to be built first so that the player can begin making Seals for themselves, but the good news is that a station can be crafted very easily with just 20 stone and 10 copper ore. Once it’s all ready to go, the player will be able to see the wide selection of Seals that can be made throughout the game, but only a few will be available from the get-go. By then taking the Seal to the dungeon, players will be able to use them to activate the Wayshrines that can be used to skip past multiple floors, saving a lot of time in the day while also making excavations so much easier and faster.

Sell Animal Produce
While it’s not exactly a necessity, taking care of a group of animals and having them breed is very worth doing, not only because it adds to the cozy gameplay loop of thisrelaxing farm simulator, but also because it can eventually lead to a steady income of Florin. Chickoos and Cottontails are some of the most reliable animals to acquire, and they can be bought for a fairly cheap price by speaking to Earline. Jeremiah on the other hand sells Woolyhorns and Mamoos, which will also drop valuable products, but they can be a little harder to take care of.
An animal must be registered with a ranch or coop once it’s been bought, and while it will have a low happiness to begin with, they will learn to grow comfortable with their new surroundings after being petted and fed over time. After two to three days, the animals will start to leave behind products that can either be refined to make something new or simply sold at a market as they are. Eggs, cotton, wool, and milk may not sell for as much as polished gems, but due to how often they drop, they still provide a steady income that can be extremely useful for upgrading items very early on in the game.
