There’s a lot of side content forSpider-Man 2players to discover while exploring New York City. One type of side mission that players can work their way through are called EMF Experiments, and these can only becompleted by Peter Parker. There are nine experiments in total. Each of them presents a challenge for Spider-Man. Only a few of them have a Plants Attributes puzzle, but these can be rather difficult, so this guide will cover all theEMF Experiment puzzle solutions and their locations inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Little Tokyo: Plant Science
The Little Tokyo: Plant Science EMFexperiment is located inChinatown, just a little northwest of the bridge leading to Williamsburg. The reward for completing the Side Story is 140 Tech Parts and three Rare Tech Parts.
Players will need to crawl around the building and locate the plant specimens, which should be simple. However, Spider-Man must complete a Plant Attribute puzzle after that. To solve them, players will need to lay down hexagonal shapes into the slots, and the lines on each end need to match up with the others. There are also some prerequisites, like placing at least two tiles with the leaf icon and one with the sun icon.

Central Park: Bee Drones
Check out theUpper West Side of NYCto find this EMF Experiment spot in Central Park. There’s no puzzle for this one. Players just need to control a drone to shoot targets and fly into markers to complete the mission.
Central Park: Energy
Look around the northwest corner of Central Park to find this EMF Experiment in Harlem.
There’s no puzzle to this one, but players will need to ride an electric bicycle as Peter and pedal through some checkpoints. Keep pressing the X button to gain some speed.
Queens Apiary: Bee Drones
There’s no puzzle for this one. Players will control a drone to shoot down some digital bees and then use the drone to follow a bird to its home. ensure to shoot the bird to keep it moving.
Prospect Park: Bee Drones
For this one, shoot the rats and bees with the drone and then traverse through the landmark points. The drone will get stolen from Spider-Man, however. Follow the marker to the park below and then head to the location on the map below to connect the drone to the signal tower.
Use the drone to shoot the glass cages filled with bees and defeat the gang with Spider-Man to finish the mission.
Brooklyn Heights: Energy
For this EMF Experiment, players will need to use their glider (triangle) to reach a high enough point to deploy turbines.
Portside: Plant Science
Puzzle 1
For this challenge, players will need to destroy the corrupted red atoms while avoiding the destruction of the green ones.
Head to Portside Docks after the puzzle is done to pull a fish out of the water using L1+R1. Once the correct specimen is obtained, head back to the starting area for another puzzle.
Puzzle 2
For this puzzle, players will need to use at least two leaf, two H, and one water tile for the board. For the solution, check out the image below or read the instructions:
Two Bridges: Plant Science
Head to the ESU greenhouse to collect the specimen. It turns out that it was taken by some goons. Defeat them to get ahold of the plant and head back to the experiment starting point. This will lead to a Plant Attributes puzzle.
