Elden Ring, like many FromSoftware games before it, is a game filled with intense, incredibly challenging boss fights. Most of theElden Ringboss fights demand that players overcome them through sheer skill, but some of them can be cheesed to let players kill the bosses near-instantly. A newElden Ringboss fight cheese was recently discovered by the community that lets players make quick work of the gargoyles.
WhenElden Ringplayers visit Nokron, Eternal City in theSiofra River area, they eventually reach a room with the Valiant Gargoyle boss. After Valiant Gargoyle’s health bar has been depleted by half, a second gargoyle, Valiant Gargoyle Twinblade, will show up, making this boss fight even tougher. Throw in the fact that these gargoyles can easily kill players in just a couple hits and have a tendency to spit poison gas everywhere, and it’s no surprise this encounter has been giving someElden Ringplayers serious trouble.

However, Reddit user Lynariel969 discovered a way to cheese theElden Ringgargoylesto make beating them a breeze. Using this cheese method may not be as fulfilling as beating theElden Ringgargoyle bosses legitimately, but it is something that players can utilize if they’re getting frustrated and just want to get past them.
Elden Ring: How to Cheese Valiant Gargoyle and Valiant Gargoyle Twinblade
Valiant Gargoyle & Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade)are essentially larger versions of the gargoyles that players encounter elsewhere inElden Ring’s open world, with some added attacks thrown in for good measure. Players will encounter them in the Siofra Aqueduct area of the game, with the closest Site of Grace being Aqueduct-Facing Cliffs. There is a bug where Valiant Gargoyle won’t always jump from his perch, in which case players will have to restart the fight by dying on purpose.
Assuming all goes well, Valiant Gargoyle will jump from its perch to fight the player. Facing the gargoyle,Elden Ringplayersshould take a right, and they’ll find a cliff. This cliff is good for killing oneself quickly in case the boss fight is bugged, but it’s also good for killing the bosses. If players stand close to the edge and swiftly dodge the gargoyles' attacks, then there’s a good chance the beasts will fly over the edge and to their deaths.
This can be done to both of theElden Ringgargoyles, making this boss fight significantly easier than it would be otherwise, andnettingElden Ringplayers a ton of runesin the process.
Elden Ringis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
