As players explore the Altus Plateau region inElden Ring, they will come across a location known asMirage Risenear the Second Church of Marika. This location appears as a tower on the in-game map, though fans will find no such structure in this position initially. Instead, players will encounter a tome that instructs them to touch three phantom crests, and this guide will detail their locations and how to accessElden Ring’s Mirage Rise.
Elden Ring: Mirage Rise Phantom Crest Locations
As indicated by the Mirage Rise tome, there are three phantom crests, and the first one is situated directly next to the tome itself. From this position, players shouldsummon Torrent inElden Ringand ride in a southwestward direction. After traveling a short distance, fans should run directly into the second crest, and they should be prepared to battle some phantom imps upon arrival.

While these first two Mirage Rise phantom crests are quite easy to track down, that is not the case with the final one. To locate it, players should head east, stopping when they are between the Bower of Bounty and the Forest-Spanning GreatbridgeSites of Grace inElden Ring. These Sites of Grace are just southwest of Altus Plateau’s Minor Erdtree, and players are looking for a large boulder in the position that is marked on the following map.
Upon locating this boulder, which has a distinct glow at night, players should hit it with any attack to reveal the third and final phantom crest. Indeed, this rock is illusory, andElden Ringfansmust simply interact with the hidden crest once it is revealed to complete the puzzle and cause a tall tower to appear back at the Mirage Rise tome. Now all that is left to do is ride back to the tower, climb it, and collect the rewards at the top, of which there are three.

For those players that are curious about the rewards that they will earn for solving the Mirage Rise puzzle, there is a chest in the tower that contains Unseen Blade and Unseen Form. The first of theseElden Ringsorceriesmakes a right-hand armament entirely invisible, while the second makes the caster partially invisible. There is also a corpse near the chest that has a Slumber Egg, which can be used in the crafting ofClarifying Cured MeatandClarifying White Cured Meat.
