A creativeDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayer made a dress inspired by Pocahontas. The character is not part of the game yet, but Pocahontas' raccoon Meeko appeared on the announcement trailer.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s customization feature has allowed players to decorate their spaces and create unique outfits. Since the game is still in Early Access, many characters have not been added to the game, so players have taken it upon themselves to turn their avatars into Disney characters. The latest character recreation onDisney Dreamlight Valleyis Pocahontas. Shared on Reddit by FrozenEnchantress, they created a dress inspired the one Pocahontas wore in the movie. The long skirt looked like it had colorful embroidery to incorporate all the colors of the wind. Completing the look were blue feather-like earrings, which could be purchased from Scrooge McDuck, according to the player.

Fellow players praised the Pocahontas-inspired dress, with one suggesting that the game should create a gallery of the creative outfits to show its appreciation towards the community. There were also players that wantedDisney Dreamlight Valleyto add Pocahontasin the game. However, some said it wouldn’t be right to add her because they thought the movie didn’t represent the real Pocahontas and the Native American people. Nonetheless, Disney fans still expressed their love for thePocahontasmovie, citing that if she doesn’t get added in the game,Disney Dreamlight Valleyshould at least add Meeko the raccoon and Flit the hummingbird as companions.

There were also players that brought up the need forDisney DreamlightValleyto add design sharing in the game. The feature is used by games likeAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, so players could easily send assets for customized items and outfits to others. SinceDisney Dreamlight Valleydoesn’t have this yet, players would have to recreate outfits and spaces from scratch, which may require time to farm items and Moonstones to accomplish. Players in the past have also explained that it took a lot of trial and error to get their creations to look perfect.

The silver lining is thatDisney DreamlightValleyis still on Early Access, which gives developer Gameloft more opportunities to add characters and worlds, and make improvements to the game. It alreadyremoved exhaustion fromDisney Dreamlight Valley, which greatly enhanced players' gameplay and overall experience. Perhaps a design sharing feature, along with a new set of characters, will be added some time soon.
