TheProphecy Dungeonis known to be one of the game’s most complicated dungeons so far in terms of puzzles. The dungeon recommends a power of 1040, with difficulty going as high as 1060 towards the later sections of the dungeons. While some may find this challenging, a YouTuber by the name of “Nr1TracerEU” and two of his friends have devised a way to beat it in just barely over eight minutes.
TheYouTubeaccount is owned by the streamer “Granger,” and his team accomplished this feat by using character builds that used swords and emphasized high mobility. It seemed that their goal was to kill their enemies quickly enough so that they can place more crucial targets in an ideal situation so that they would spawn earlier than they usually would.
Granger also manipulated the physics of the character’ssparrow vehicleby carefully timing the mid-air and side boosts. By spawning the sparrow in the air and using the sparrow’s boosts while slowly spinning the vehicle upward, Granger used that momentum to propel himself forward and summon a new bike once he can. This speedrun strategy has been around since the first game, but with the added perks inDestiny 2, more speedrunners have been finding it to be more useful.
Granger and his team were aiming for a run under eight minutes, but due to a lack of time, this was all they were able to do. At this moment, this is currently Grangers team’sbest speed run, but he will be attempting this all again shortly once they are all able to meet again. Considering how precise players have to be with killing enemies in specific areas, it is incredible that Granger’s team was even able to do this in eight minutes.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
