Destiny 2players are often caught trying to achieve incredible records either for the sake of completing in-game Triumphs or achievements, but it’s equally common for them to do it for fun. An example comes from aplayer who showed a quad-100 stats build after 6,000 hours of farming, and while getting four stats to 100 is an incredible accomplishment, it also required an astounding effort in the making. Other times, players share clips from their Gambit and Crucible matches to either make fun of themselves or show amazing plays, and those usually gain a lot of traction for the spectacle.
Other times,Destiny 2playersshare their findings of odd interactions that can break the game or simply seem unintended. For example, some players recently learned that Malfeasance and Witherhoard have a weird connection that makes the former deal more damage against targets affected by the blighted area of the latter.

A Reddit user by the name of RockmasterJ shared an interesting post yesterday in which they showcase what they believe is the longest Super duration inDestiny 2’s history, topping at 2 hours and 23 minutes. Normally, Supers are very short-lived inDestiny 2due to them consuming Super energy over time as well as with every attack or activation, making them usually last for a minute or so at the very best. However, RockmasterJ managed to pull off this outstanding record by using bottom tree Sentinel Titan for the Shield Throws, and paired Doom Fang Pauldron with it to extend their Super.
In fact, Doom Fang Pauldron is a Titan Exotic that makes Void killsgrant Super energywhile the Super is not full, and makes melee kills recharge Shield Throw, which is then used to extend the Super’s duration. Achieving this is not feasible everywhere, though, and that’s why RockmasterJ chose to do this in the Thrall segment of the Shattered Throne Dungeon, a popular choice forDestiny 2players willing to farm kills for catalysts or even just experience points.
It’s not uncommon forDestiny 2YouTubers and content creators to chime in as well with these records or share facts about the game. An example comes from YouTuber Misleading, who shared a fantasticmethod to farm Legendary Shards and Enhancement Cores inDestiny 2just last week. Still, making a Super last for over 2 hours inDestiny 2remains a very unique personal achievement, and RockmasterJ seems to be willing to making it last even longer in the future.
