Destiny 2is one of the most popular games in the video game world, so it makes some sense that the game’s official merch might start expanding. For the most part, when talking about video game plushies, people tend to be referring to cuter games likeAnimal CrossingorPokemon Legends plushies; however, there is now a cute little stuffed animal players can take home fromDestiny 2lore.
Plushies are certainly nothing new in the video game world. There will always be a segment of gamers that want to take some of their video game characters out of the game and into real life. There’s also no shortage of video game merchandise out there, such asGenshin ImpactmemorabiliaorStardew Valleystuffed toys, just to name a few. However, as a general rule, this kind of stuff is a bit rarer when talking about looter shooters likeDestiny 2. However, one company is making these particular kinds of stuffed animals a little more common with its budding line ofDestiny 2creations.

Numskull Designs took to its official Twitter account to announce what is billed as the next design in its line ofDestiny 2plushies. Having previously released a baby Fallen, this time around, the plushie is an adorable baby Hive Worm. While these creatures are not usually something that fans of the long-running game franchise will want to have sitting on their lap, this time around, the toy makes the Hive Worm plenty huggable.
The release of this stuffed animal is just the latest item thatDestiny 2fans can get excited about. Those who want this cute little Hive Worm can now order it on websites like Just Geek for $29.99 a piece. Once they get it home, they’ll notice one of the cool features of this stuffed toy is that it lives up to its video game roots by sporting glow-in-the-dark eyes.
When it comes to the title that made the plushie possible, it sounds like it will get support for quite a while. In addition to a job listing that seems to indicateDestiny 2will be supportedfor the next decade at least, the franchise looks like it will be expanding to mobile devices. Of course, it seems as though a version ofDestinythat ends up on iOS and Android devices could be quite a bit different than what people expect to see in the game, with the focus being possibly much more on the PvP side of things.
One thing seems certain. If theDestinyfranchise is indeed going to be supported for more than another decade, it looks like there are plenty of chances for new plushies to get pushed out by Numskull and other companies. It would seem like this cute little Hive Worm is just the start.
Destiny 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
