Since this last week’sthird Night City Wire event,Cyberpunk 2077is releasing a heap of content in preparation for the game’s release in November. In addition to some new trailers, the devs at CD Projekt Red have created a fake ‘tourism’ website forCyberpunk 2077, giving more details about Night City.

The devs at CD Projekt Red are well known for excellent world-building, which was evident in its other hit game,The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now the studio looks to be bringing the same level of detail and scope toCyberpunk 2077. Over the past months,Cyberpunk 2077has slowly been detailing its massive futuristic world of Night City. Both the different districts and gangs that inhabit the citymake up a core part ofCyberpunk 2077and will influence the three different life paths that players have to choose from.

Recently, a mock tourism website titled the “Official Webpage of Night City - City of Dreams” was made accessible online. This webpage goes hand-in-hand with a recently released trailer that gives playersa ‘tour’ of Night City. The website itself goes into the background lore forCyberpunk 2077in meticulous detail, to the point of even having fake pop-up ads. Some interesting details that viewers can find include a breakdown of each of the city’s districts, transport options, propaganda for the upcoming mayoral election and a gallery of high quality images.

While seemingly created to promote Night City to tourists, the website also hints at some of the dangers of the city. Each of the district breakdowns include a threat level meter which ranges all the way up to ‘catastrophic’ and there’s even a body count widget, which proves just how rough Night City can be.Cyberpunk 2077recently released information on the gangsof Night City and players are being encouraged to study the different factions to help them make choices throughout the game.

It seems CD Projekt Red is choosing to use a promotional strategy that places players in the shoes of a Night City citizen as much as possible. With options like in-depth character customization and conversation trees,Cyperpunk 2077may be one of the most immersive RPGs coming to the market. The story campaign playtime forCyberpunk 2077is expected to beslightly shorter thanThe Witcher 3’s, but with such an expansive world for players to explore, it’s likely there will be plenty of extra hours spent searching every corner of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077will be available November 19th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with PS5, Stadia and Xbox Series X versions in development.
