With the release of its massive 2.0 update,Cyberpunk 2077received some hefty changes to its skill trees and an overhaul for the cyberware system. However, the most interesting parts of both of these are reserved for higher level characters, limiting new players to a basic cover-shooter style of gameplay.

Thankfully, the bigCyberpunk 2077update also opened up some new XP farming strategies. The patch has made enemies scale according to the player’s level, making the entire city accessible to everyone after completing the heist at Konpeki Plaza. While any of the previous leveling methods around Watson still remain viable, some better options are now available for players who want to sink their teeth into the game’s buildcrafting much quicker.

Enemy spawn points along Pacifica in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 XP Farming Route

Before getting into this newCyberpunk 2077XP farming spot, players should note that doing gigs and quests reward tons of XP, Eddies, and Street Cred, making them much more efficient for overall progress. However, those who are looking to focus on farming XP and loot, the following will do just fine.

One of the best XP farming routes in the gameas of Patch 2.0is in Pacifica — specifically, the shorelinestarting from Westwind Estate all the way to the northern boardwalk. Tons of gangoons will be hanging around abandoned stores and beach shacks, and clearing them all out will net players a good chunk of XP and Street Cred.

Enemy spawn points have been marked on the map above. Players can farm the gangers here as many times as they want; after a full clear, head somewhere far from the vicinity and wait anywhere between 24–72 hours. All spawn points should be repopulated by then, though the density may not be as high as the first time players do this route.

The golden marker represents the location of aScav den.About a dozen enemies here always respawn if players go back to the stairs leading up to the Grand Imperial Mall and wait for at least 24 hours. Clearing this group should only take a couple of minutes depending on what build players are using, and it’s much faster compared to doing a full run of the Pacifica beach farming route.

Enemy spawns appear to be random. After running the route again after a full clear, players may notice that not all spawn points are repopulated. If so, the enemy density may not be as high. For anyone who wants to do a max-density clear again, it may be better to wait a few more in-game dayswhile doing other thingsin a completely different part of the city before checking if the Pacifica farm route is 100% repopulated.

Cyberpunk 2077is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
