Football_rpg on Reddit posted a clip of a recent hardcore match in which the entire lobby was working towards a single goal. Rather than playing the objective, they were running back to a single spot allowing alucky Riot Shield userto gain some extra kills throughout the match. Lining up, they each sacrificed themselves for the Riot Shield and then promptly returned to do it again. After 10 minutes of repeating this process, the game ends with a single tactical nuke from none other than the lucky player.
Although it seemed unfair to drop a nuke, the Reddit fan clarified in the comments that the game was over anyway. They had spent the entire match working to help this player with the timer running close to the end when the match was nuked. After this encounter, he invited the player into a party chat wherethe Riot Shield userexpressed his gratitude to the group.
The player said that he was having a “terrible night grinding” and was preparing to quit after that match. Now, thanks to this group’s dedication to helping, he has almost all the challenges complete except for a few kills while injured. With most of the challenge done, the player gets to return to the game refreshed and ready to earn their Damascus skins.
