WhenCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers choose a field upgrade, many selectDead Silencefor silent maneuvering around the battlefield. Although Dead Silence is extremely viable and popular, there are other field upgrades, such as the Trophy System, that have many ways of saving a player.

A player known as Daboosie_ found a pretty interesting trick with the Trophy System that will have players reconsidering their field upgrade options inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. In a clip shared by Daboosie_ on Reddit, the player is attempting to defend the B flag objective on Vacant when all hell breaks loose.

The player soon finds themselves surrounded by enemies that are trying to keep them from defending the flag. During the firefight, the player is stuck with a Semtex Grenade immediately after deploying theirTrophy System. Usually, getting stuck with a Semtex means that a player will die no matter what they do, but this time things work out differently.

The Trophy System, to the player’s surprise, shoots the Semtex right off of their character. Judging by the reaction to the clip, it seems manyCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers were unaware that the Trophy System was able to do this.

Defending players from being stuck with a Semtex is not the only interesting thing that a Trophy System can do inModern Warfare. When deployed, the Trophy System can have enemies mark themselves if they throw a Snapshot Grenade at it or save players who have been stuck with a Thermite Grenade from burning to death. The Trophy System can protect against pretty much every equipmentexcept the Throwing Knife.

The Trophy System can also save players from enemy killstreaks such as the Cruise Missile and it can also save players from a few Chopper Gunner missiles. Overall, players should experiment with all of the Field Upgrades in the game to see which one works best for them play the variousModern Warfaregame modes.
