Since its launch a couple of weeks ago,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warhas received numerous updates designed to improve the game’s balance, fix bugs, and add new content. Now Treyarch has released yet anotherCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warupdate, along with some patch notes so fans of the popular first-person shooter know exactly what to expect.
The main thing that theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarNovember 25 update does is add a Hardcore Nuketown 24/7 playlist to the Hardcore tab in Quick Play. Previously, there was only a regularNuketown 24/7 playlistavailable in the game.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers will be able to take advantage of the game’s double XP in both the standard Nuketown 24/7 playlist as well as the Hardcore variant and all the other game modes.

As far as multiplayer goes, the rest of theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarNovember 25 update was focused on fixing crashes.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s crashing issueshave been well-documented since, but now players should notice less crashes when playing Hardpoint and when trying to load into multiplayer matches. The patch notes don’t address some of the more seriousCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcrashing issues, which have been plaguing the Xbox Series X version of the game in particular, but hopefully an update on that comes sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies mode has also gotten some attention as part of the November 25 update. Previously, there was an issue withCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies modethat was allowing players to earn too much XP during double XP events. While Treyarch has fixed this issue, it has also changed weapon XP in Zombies in general so that players will be able to level their weapons in Zombies at a faster pace overall.
While smaller updates like this are appreciated, it’s safe to say that someCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warfans are anxious for the game to get some more substantial updates. Luckily, they won’t have to wait all that much longer, asCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1is set to start on December 10.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarSeason 1 will integrate the game with theWarzonebattle royale, as well as add a new battle pass, cosmetic options, and much more.
