Although details on the new season ofBlack Mirrorare scant, Variety reports that it will have more than three episodes, which will make it at least longer than season 5.Black Mirroris well known for critiquing aspectsof modern society, so it will be interesting to see what stories the new season tells. Since the last season of the show aired in 2019, the world has gotten much darker. In the past three years audiences have faced a devastating global pandemic, an attack on the U.S. Congress, and a large-scale war in Europe, three things most people thought could never happen.

With the real world already feeling so much like a dystopia, it’s hard to imagine how the show could put a more dystopian spin on things. Fans will have to wait and see ifBlack Mirrorseason 6 attempts to tackle these topics or just avoids them altogether.
