3Aurora (Child Of Light)
The eponymousChild of Lightwould naturally leave an impression. The game isa fairy tale straight from a somber storybook, with Aurora as the requisite princess. Sadly, her life is far from glamorous. Instead, she must slowly come to terms with her tragic roots. She grows both physically and emotionally, allowing players to empathize with her as the most compelling character.
Of course, it helps that she’s also the best party member. She has a healthy mix of physical attacks and spells, which each hit hard on their own. What makes distinguishes her, however, is her Light magic. No other party member has this element, but Aurora wields it with ease. Not only can she fire it as a projectile, but she can channel it into her sword to enhance her melee strikes. What better way to cut through the hordes of darkness than a blade of light?
2Bastila (Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic)
Bastila isthe first Jedi whom players meetinKnights of the Old Republic, and she’s also one of the most powerful. Though already handy with lightsabers, theseStar Warsmystics can accomplish all sorts of supernatural tricks with the Force. A few in-game examples are healing, mind control, paralysis, and psychic pushing. What Bastila, in particular, brings to the table is her battle meditation: using one’s increased awareness to coordinate armies and maximize their efficiency. This makes her invaluable to the war with the Sith, which, in turn, makes her instrumental to the story.

The hero can absorb the souls of slain dragons and channel their essence through ancient incantations. These provide a wealth of catastrophic abilities, from shockwaves to fire breath.
