Players looking to be the best that they can be will probably want to adjust a bunch of settings before even getting into the game. Luckily,Battlefield 2042’smenus are pretty easy to navigate, especially given all the options they offer to players. One of the most basic fundamentals of controlling the soldiers of the future is sensitivity. This setting is critical to game comfort and luckily isn’t a drag to find.
Step One–Find The Options Menu
Players trying to adjust settings before getting into the game should find the options menu before going anywhere else. Some players are having trouble actually getting into the main menu, as their devices are failing to connect to EA servers.
If this happens, just retry a few times. If this doesn’t work, restart the game and try again. Once into the main menu, players should direct their attention to thebottom left part of their screen for the “Options” menu.

Step Two–Navigate The Options Menu
There is abug in the betaon PC that is forcing players to change screen resolution upon entering the options menu. This won’t happen to every player, but affected players should just accept the new resolution then immediately set it back to what it was. If this doesn’t happen, players should find themselves sitting in the “General” settings menu.
When looking for the sensitivity options, players shouldscan the top part of the screenfor their control device of choice. Select either the“Controller” or “Mouse & Keyboard”option. These will bring the player into all the settings related to their device of choice.

Step Three–Changing The Sensitivity
Once the player has clicked on either “Controller” or “Mouse & Keyboard” they will be brought to a menu that contains a lot of information but lacks sensitivity options. Players of both devices shouldonce again look at the top of their screens and find the sub-menus below “Controller” or “Mouse & Keyboard.”

Select the sub-option of“On Foot”for both “Controller” and “Mouse & Keyboard.”This is where the aim sensitivity options can be found.Vehicle camera sensitivities can be found under the sub-menu “Vehicles.”
Step Four–Try Out The New Settings
The most important part of changing the sensitivity settings is actually making sure they work. Players can only play Conquest in the beta, so load into a game and get into the fight, If the settings feel wrong, go back into the options and change them up. Once in-game,players can access the settings by pausing and looking in the bottom left.
Once in the menus, follow the above steps once more to find the sensitivity settings. Once the player has their settings down, they’ll be ready to step into the battlefield anddo some damage.

More Controller Customization–Controller Tuning
Controller players have a lot of nice options open to them in Battlefield 2042. After reaching “Controller” in the options menu, select the sub-menu of “Controller Tuning.” Here, controller players can adjust stick sensitivities, deadzones, and more. Beware though that 2042 has pretty low Aim Assist, so consistently hitting shots can be difficult on the controller.
