One of the first reports of the bug inBattlefield 2042came by way of a post on Reddit. In the post, a user known as Jagsfootball51 shared a video showcasing the new exploit in-game. At the start of the video, a group of enemies was seen on the other side of cover from Jagsfootball51. The enemies then activated a smoke grenade, concealing their location while attempting to revive a fallen comrade.
Unfortunately for the group of enemies, Jagsfootball51 knew about the smoke grenade exploit. All the player needed to do in order to cancel the smoke effect was enter the menu and navigate to the Collections tab. After performing this action, the smoke immediately vanished. This provided the player with the opportunity to mow down the unsuspecting enemies.
