There’s plenty of buzz around Larian Studios' latest game, most recently because it opened pre-orders forBaldur’s Gate 3. The Collector’s Edition has plenty to offer, but only a limited number has been created for fans worldwide.
Baldur’s Gate 3has been out in early access since June 01, 2025, receiving some criticism for being made available initially with very little for fans to interact with, especially when it comes to the story. However, Larian Studios has been diligent in adding additional content regularly, expanding on the gameplay and adding more and more classes, and it seems excitement has only been rising as players are waiting for its full release.

The Collector’s Edition will cost $270 and will arrive by August whenBaldur’s Gate 3will have its full release. Looking at everything the Collector’s Edition has to offer, the eye is almost overwhelmed with all that Larian Studios has put together. Even the box itself the Collector’s Edition will come in is a piece of art in itself, showing an ominous close-up of a mind flayer with plenty of additional embellishments. The crowning piece of the entire edition is without a doubt the battle diorama that depictsa drow fighting a mind flayerand will be 25 cm in height, a great piece of decoration on any fan’s shelf. Another beautiful piece is an A3 cloth map of Faerûn made from silk satin fabric and for those who in general love to get lost in the visual world of games will have a 160-page hardcover art book as well to browse.
The above by itself would already make for a great edition, but this still barely scratches the surface. In addition to all of that, fans will find a large engraved d20, based on the dice found in the game,D&D style origin character sheets, a metal tadpole keyring, a custom sticker sheet with 32 stickers of all the players' favorite characters and a certificate of authenticity. Of course, the Collector’s Edition will contain a digital copy ofBaldur’s Gate 3. Only a limited number will be available worldwide with 25k units, but the first 15k units will also get, in addition, 3Magic: The Gathering, Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate booster packs.
All that the Collector’s Edition has to offer is without a doubt very exciting, although it’s possible the price will scare away some as it’s a considerable amount to spend from one’s budget. Although it is also easy to argue that everything this Edition ofBaldur’s Gate 3has to offer and the quality of the items more than make up for the asking price.
